“Be careful about their HVAC repair quote. Recently have outdoor unit fail due to power outrage. The called Jazz for repair. They quote me near $4k to repair and state the fan motor fails. And internal parts need replace as well. I ultimately repair by myself with change of motor capacitor ($25), the electrical motor is very strong, capacitor is easily damaged due to electric current weave. It is easy to figure out by multi-meter. The diagnostic is wasting my time and money, and it is just a upsell for replacement (by scare me of important parts fail and no worth to repair). Plus their replacement quote is a joke. $27k+5k additional for dual tone with Rheem brand. As summary, I feel I am working with car dealer, they present fake issue, cause the urgency to ask you for replacement. Provide a sky high quote, then give a little discount, and state offer will expired today/tomorrow push you to make decision. Will never work with Jazz again. Still looking for replace in my own pace as my unit is too old. As a customer, Jazz is out. Be cautious for all the positive reviews. I read before I call. Fully disappointed. (Update) Just got fully replacement quote from local diamond certificate HVAC company: 5 Ton Lennox variable, communicating dual fuel system, total cost is $22.9k. Everything on Lennox is the top spec, not say they explain the details of ducting and no pushing and encourage me to shop around as they are confident about the quality and price. This really make Jazz replacement quote as joke. You pay 50% more, switch from Lennox to Raheem, remove top tier system variable to 2 tone system, and suspicious installation quality. Sorry Jazz, everything on math does not work.”
