About

Adam A Acevedo Maintenance Services works out of Fort Worth, Texas, where they specialize in HVAC repairs and upkeep for residential systems. The city sees long stretches of summer heat that push older units hard, plus rare but sharp winter drops that can freeze lines and kill heat pumps overnight. Homeowners here face frequent breakdowns from age, dust, and sudden temperature swings, so the crew stays ready for those calls with trucks stocked for on-site fixes rather than long delays. Their background centers on straightforward maintenance that keeps air moving and homes comfortable without unnecessary upsells.

They handle tasks such as restoring heat pumps that quit during ice storms when thermostats go blank, adding or replacing duct runs in existing homes, and installing new American Standard systems after talking through a homeowner's exact requests. Technicians like Jared assess problems on arrival, confirm the job is smaller than expected, and complete it without extra service fees. Tom has replaced full 30-year-old setups while meeting prior specifications from earlier duct work. They also run checkups and summer repairs on outdoor units that blow warm air, testing breakers first before deeper fixes on older models.

Customers note the quick arrivals even on holidays or during bad weather, fair charges that avoid padding, and clear explanations that match the actual work needed. Quality shows in systems still performing years after installs, while communication keeps everyone informed without confusion. These patterns across repairs and maintenance add up to consistent results. DIRT Score 4.84 from 30 reviews on Finds.

What Customers Say

This week was the coldest of winter, with temperatures as low as 9 F. We had extended periods in the twenties. Despite the snow and ice, everything was fine. Then two nights ago, the heat pump stopped working. The thermostat was blank. I prompted Gemini to help me troubleshoot. After following all the simple steps, including the YouTube explanations, I gave up. I tried resetting the heat pump circuit breaker at the electrical panel, but it didn't work. I called Bob at Advanced Air, but the roads were still icy and dangerous. He said he could come the next day in the afternoon. Bob first discovered that no power was coming into the HVAC unit indoors. When he checked the electrical panel, he discovered that the original installer had fed the primary circuit and the emergency heating circuit into the same circuit breaker. With the extended freezing weather, the emergency heating kicked in, overloading the circuit breaker. Bob separated and capped off the emergency heating circuit, then lowered the thermostat to seventy to prevent activation. The cold spell was ending anyway. The ice on the roads was melting. The overloaded circuit was no longer working. Bob replaced it with another unit, enough to handle the load from the primary circuit. That was enough to get the heat pump working. However, we still need to address the capped-off circuit for future cold spells. Bob suggested that we have an electrician reorganize the circuit breakers in the panel because the current layout doesn’t have space for the extra circuit breaker. Today, we scheduled Cool Hand Electric to do that tomorrow morning. I highly recommend Advanced Air. Especially with technicians like Bob.

What a great find! We were referred to Advance Air by another A/C company, and I couldn’t be more impressed. Jared came out, assessed the situation, and it turned out to be a smaller job than we expected. He handled everything quickly and didn’t overcharge us for a service call. Honest, professional service—we’ll definitely be using them again!

I had Advanced HVAC replace and add additional ducts when I first moved in 15 years ago. They did an awesome job. When my 30 year old system finally gave out, I didn't even have to think about who to call. Tom listened to my requests and put in a new American Standard system to meet those requests. It was all done in one day and a very neat installation. Thanks to all for a job well done!

Awesome service. I used them a few times for repairs and checkups and have always been happy with results. Yesterday July 3rd, I noticed air was blowing warm and discovered outside unit was not running. Checked breakers and basics with no luck. It's an older unit so I was expecting this might be an expensive replacement. Called Advanced Air at 4pm. They initially said they'd come by next day (JULY 4th) between 8am and noon. A few minutes later Bob called and said he could come by that afternoon. I'm about a mile from office so that probably helped. Bob showed up shortly after, identified issue, replaced part, cleaned unit and checked freon. Total bill was $190, total time from initial call to Bob heading out less than an hour. Could not have been more pleased with service. As long as they are around and operate this way, I'll never call anyone else for heating and AC needs.

Jared is very attentive & informative allowing me to send a report received by another company that listed $1500 in expenses. Jared looked over the report and came out this morning for a service call to later tell me that he was able to fix the issue as not everything listed in my previous report needed to be replaced. Honest service & $130 later, I now have a forever HVAC company that I can reach out to in comfort knowing that I will not be getting taken advantage of! Thank you Advanced Air Conditioning for helping me with my issue 😊.
