Artale, Charles John
HVAC Contractor · Fort Worth, TX
About
Charles John Artale runs his HVAC operation in San Antonio, Texas. He concentrates on keeping homes comfortable through the hot summers and cooler winters that hit the region. Homeowners call on him for everything from basic tune ups to handling bigger system issues that pop up in older houses around town. His approach comes from hands on work rather than fancy talk, and he shows up ready to diagnose problems on the spot. San Antonio's weather puts a lot of stress on air conditioners, so reliable service matters when the temperature climbs. He works directly with the equipment and knows the common breakdowns that occur in this part of Texas.
Artale handles full system installations when old units give out under the load, along with repairs for issues like refrigerant leaks, bad capacitors, and clogged coils that stop cooling. Crews check ductwork for leaks that waste energy and replace thermostats or clean filters during service calls. In this city the constant heat forces units to run hard, so jobs often include testing compressors and balancing airflow in homes with additions or older layouts. They arrive with the tools to handle both central systems and packaged units, explain the problem in plain terms, and finish without dragging things out longer than needed.
Customers keep coming back because the work holds up through the seasons and the pricing stays reasonable for the quality delivered. Reviews point to quick arrivals when units break in the middle of summer, clear explanations of what needs fixing, and results that last without repeat visits. The team communicates straight about timelines and costs so homeowners know what to expect. DIRT Score 4.36 from 25 reviews on Finds.

What Customers Say
“Dr. West recently did a procedure on my almost 100 year old grandmother! He met with us and explained the procedure then ran tests to be sure she could handle it. The tests came back saying she was good for the surgery and he explained the procedure in detail to both of us so she would know what to expect. He felt very confident that he could perform the surgery with great success and that she would be able to handle it. All of that was true - thank God! Dr. West even went above and beyond by calling us the night before the surgery to explain everything again (on speaker phone with multiple family members). He is a very caring doctor who will explain things to you and make you feel at ease in his care. I would highly recommend Dr. Charles West!”
“My first appointment to see Dr West was an excellent experience. He was so encouraging and complete with my exam and previous medical history. His staff was courteous and beyond competent. Tests were done at my first appointment and more testing scheduled within a week even though it was during the Christmas season. I was very impressed and encouraged that I will receive help with a long ongoing debilitating medical problem.”
“Dr. West did an emergency surgery on my dad in Houston, TX and did an outstanding job! I live out of town, so it was difficult not to be there. It was comforting to know Dr. West had truly cared for my dad with the utmost skill and kindness. Awesome doctor! He deserves 10 stars!”
“Dr. West is truly an amazing surgeon. I saw him for a rare condition I was born with and desperately needed surgery for. The surgery went off without a hitch and I’m doing great! Him and his PA, Joel truly care about their patients and will sit there and make sure to answer all of your questions or concerns. His office staff is incredible too! So kind and celebrate your success with you. I would absolutely go back and see him for any condition he is able to address and recommend him 10/10!”
“Dr West is the best cardiologist!. I cannot rave enough about his dedication and work ethics. He first did my dad's surgery roughly around 10 years ago when he used to practice in St Luke's hospital ( Houston medical center). My dad was told that he would need his arm amputated because there was nothing they could do for him at a different hospital. Thankfully we were referred to Dr West. He immediately took action and performed the surgery and saved his arm and life. Most recently my mom had a very similar situation where a hospital in houston try to perform a vascular surgery and were not successful. Right away they opted to suggest to amputate her leg. We found Dr West had moved to Fort worth and drove her there .Once again he did what he does best. He saved my mom's leg and ultimately her life too. My siblings and I cannot thank him enough for coming through with his special talent and looking out for my mom's best interest. The staff is also very attentive and courteous.”
