About

County-Wide Mechanical LLC handles HVAC work across Fort Worth and the nearby Benbrook area in Texas. They focus on Bryant equipment for homes, taking care of installations along with repairs and routine maintenance on air conditioners, furnaces, and heat pumps. The company operates from a spot on Benbrook Blvd and sends out crews for service calls that involve diagnosing problems and keeping systems running through the seasons. Local homeowners often deal with hot summers and occasional cold snaps that put extra demand on these units, so the crew stays busy with both emergency fixes and scheduled checkups to avoid bigger breakdowns later.

Their services cover AC repair and service where technicians check units for performance issues, furnace work to maintain heat output, annual maintenance visits that include system tune-ups, heat pump repairs for year-round comfort, and full AC installations with Bryant models. Crews have been noted on jobs involving cartridge replacements in valves and ladder use at larger sites like the Sycuan Casino project, though reports also mention incidents such as a technician handling a power tool near a pet and a driver changing lanes aggressively on the freeway. Billing has come up in calls where hours were questioned and responses to follow-up emails took time, leaving some homeowners to seek second opinions from other contractors on the same properties.

Customers have pointed out repeated problems with how crews handle themselves on site, including refusals to identify during disputes and management responses that downplay concerns rather than address them directly. Feedback highlights issues around pricing accuracy, follow-through on fixes, and basic communication when things go wrong, which aligns with the low marks across quality and speed categories. What Customers Say

A technician from this company engaged with my pet using a power tool (yes, a POWER TOOL) and escalated to verbal threats when I asked him to stop. He refused to identify himself. When calling to escalate to management, I was told to “calm down,” and the focus was placed on personal familiarity with the technician rather than addressing the conduct I reported. The man on the phone stating “I know him personally, he’s not a bad guy” instead of listening to my concerns. Erica and Katie on dispatch were the only helpful contacts here, and made sure the tech was not dispatched again to my property.

Your driver almost crashed into me on the freeway while your driver was changing lanes. If you drive this reckless, is your service just as bad?

I feel that you can judge a lot about a company by the value instilled in its employees. What do you get with the employees of Countywide?? Thieves. Plain and simple. We are another contractor that has been working on the Sycuan Casino, along with Countywide. My techs had noticed a ladder that looked to be one or ours, but it was covered with "Countywide Mechanical" stickers, and those stickers happened to be in all of the places where we had marked our company name on the ladder(s). My guys had walked over to the ladder and pulled off the stickers only to find that sure enough, they had stolen our ladder, and simply put their company stickers over where we had marked the ladder to be our company property. The GC had notified Countywide, but Countywide didn't feel the need to reach out to my company to apologize or perhaps even do anything to reprimand their responsible employee. I have nothing but respect for the employees in my company and trust them explicitly. I despise dishonesty and feel that it has the tendency to spread like wildfire in a company when you have those on your staff whom feel it is OK to lie cheat and steal. If you have employees that feel it is OK to steal from other trades, then they will also have no qualms about misrepresenting the hours worked, materials used on a project, workplace injuries and more. The cost of those things end up as additional overhead that will end up being added in to the cost that they charge their customers. I would be VERY concerned if I had this company doing work for me, since their employees have zero concerns about stealing from other trades, I am 100% certain that they would also have zer concerns about a whole laundry list of other shady practices that they would also do to line the pockets of the field workers, and the office will ultimately need to pass those costs along to the end users. If you value honesty and integrity in work that you are looking to have performed, I'd HIGHLY recommend to steer clear of companies that would outright steal from anyone. Next it could be you. (The picture is the backside of their sticker. After we peaked it off, it pulled off the ink with it, where my guys had marked our ladder as our company property).

They overcharged me and it’s impossible to to get them to answer my emails. Unprofessional. Lack service. Look elsewhere. They overcharged on the hours. Plus they didn’t fix the problem. I thought the issue was with the shower valve. The plumber said it’s not the valve but the cartridge inside the valve. He was there for 10min and I was charged for 3 hours. And he didn’t change the cartridge. I feel like I was robbed of $500 dollars.

I had a great experience with Countywide. I call to schedule on Thursday afternoon and they arrived the next day for an appointment at noon. I needed a couple shower valves replaced, and the technician, Ruben, was super friendly and had the process done in no time flat. They provided great, timely service at a very reasonable price, and I’m glad I know I can rely on them in the future. Stoked!
