About
David Kip Grant runs an HVAC operation based in Fort Worth, Texas. The company concentrates on residential heating and cooling systems that must stand up to the region's long hot summers and occasional winter cold snaps. Homeowners in the area call on this type of service when units stop working properly or need routine attention to keep indoor temperatures steady. With no other background details supplied, the focus stays on practical HVAC tasks that come up regularly around Fort Worth, such as restoring airflow and addressing basic equipment faults that affect daily comfort in local houses.
Technician Dr Karen handles diagnostics on air conditioning and heating equipment and takes time to lay out what is wrong with the system for customers like Dolores Martinez. At the same time, visits can involve long waits because of other demands on the schedule. Rem Mont noted fast responses on some calls yet found the explanations short and the overall manner rushed. Madi Likhite-Koehler described an experience where suggestions for fixes came without discussion of the actual problem reported, while Open Book mentioned a technician entering without introduction and showing little interest in the reported issue before moving on.
Feedback from the 67 reviews shows repeated notes on quick arrivals paired with short conversations and limited follow-through on details, which pulls the overall rating down despite the single strong comment on knowledge. Homeowners mention feeling the service moves too fast without enough clarity on what was done or why certain steps were taken. This pattern of mixed speed and communication results in the current standing. DIRT Score 2.77 from 67 reviews on Finds.

What Customers Say
“Dr Karen is very knowledgeable and does take the time to explain in details of your diagnosis. Only con is the waiting I believe due to she does do surgeries at hospital and when she done comes to office to attend to her patients at the office. But she does make a point to see even after the wait. I believe she cares but she is only one person and too many people needing help. Her staff is kind as well and helpful. Thank You Dr Karen wish there were more Dr’s like you to take on so many people that do really need the care. I pray God gives you the energy that you need to care for so many.”
“Dr. Grant is very quick, not very informative, and rushed visits. A bit rude and not kind at all .She doesn’t speak Spanish but receptionists tell you over the phone she doesn’t. Sad cause you go and pay a fee to see a Doctor is not for Free!!”
“One of the worst experiences at a primary care office I’ve had. Not only was she uninterested in the actual issues I brought up, she immediately starts prescribing medications for things I did not ask for, without explaining why, what they are for, and provided no plan for figuring out what is going on. I had an appointment scheduled later that week with a back and pain specialist and she scoffs and says “going to the surgeon first is a little overboard and I can get the imaging done cheaper.” She proceeds to send me to a lab that is not covered under my insurance (as a patient, how am I supposed to know the difference between an outpatient lab or a private lab??). The lab also failed to pull up my insurance but still told me to go with the technician. The results? “Everything looks normal see you whenever you schedule again.” Now I have a $900 bill for imaging that she could do sooo much cheaper, no leads on what is causing my pain, and no follow up to see what steps can be taken next. Thank you so much Dr. Grant! Also, upon following up on history of depression she saw in my chart she looks at me at says “why were you depressed.” When I stared at her because how do you respond to that in few words she says “just life ?” I had to stop myself from laughing out loud because how is that a normal way to ask someone about mental health history? I felt like the whole appointment was a joke. A joke that ended up being extremely expensive with zero progress made on my health.”
“I had Dr. Karen Grant as a primary care doctor but would see her nurse practitioner during my visits. She passed away in Oct. so today was the first time I was seen by Dr. Grant. When she walked into the room, she didn't introduce herself, sat down and asked me why was I there? Her tone was cold and she talked to me in a condescending way. She didn't offer any solutions but left out with me feeling upset. I don't recommend. She is rude and doesn't have a good bedside manner. I will be changing doctors asap.”
“Let’s just say I know now why this office is not highly rated. Upon Looking for a new primary care for my elderly mother in Ft Worth, Dr Grant was recommended. The first visit was thorough but subsequent visits have been a joke. Comes in the room, says hello, writes a few things down and says “we’ll see you in 3 months” - and bills Medicare exorbitantly each time. For what I ask?? the additional problems started when we were close to running out of meds and we were told that we’d need to see the Dr again (office personnel is less than average) but we had just seen the Dr in early December - Response given “well you haven’t seen her in 2024” - all to refill a medication that my mom has taken for the last 15 yrs. Her original primary care only required her to visit once a year unless something changed. Upon calling the office again to get the prescription filled I was met with rudeness and discontent. I asked the then to have the Dr call me and was told the Dr doesn’t call patients back. “It’s her policy” Needless to say, it didn’t go well after that comment. YOU’VE BEEN WARNED!!”
