What Customers Say
“I have nothing bad to say about Mr Nelson. He helped me navigate through my worries and case. Happy with the ending. He was organized. Stayed on my side. And knew his information. Couldn’t have done it without him.”
“I hired Gary Nelson twice. I should have learned my lesson the first time. He handled my custody case and a reckless driving charge. First case he submitted paperwork incorrectly. He also had numerous gramatical errors in his paperwork. Second case he began creating fictional charges after the remaining balance was paid. When his receptionist was confronted with charges she claimed it was because he went to court for me. So I was charged 5 months after his last court appearance with me. And after I paid the remaining balance. Never went to court more than 2x but got charged for 3x.”
“Hired this lawyer, to handle a divorce case. He gave me a price to do the case . Well he didn't stay with that price, and then some of the paper work was done wrong. So when it was brought up that the wrong paper work was filed. He failed to admit he done wrong and then did the right paper work, and charge for that service. Also be aware he also charge 60.00 to respond to a E-mail about the mistake., and also charge another 40.00 to respond to a E-mails there were many E-mails and many attach charges for the E-mails. Be careful hiring this lawyer make him sign a contract when it was to be a flat fee. I would not use him again. Also the office lady is his wife, and she not professional to the fact she hung up on me, When I told her I felt we were over charge. But because she is his wife they protect each other. She's rude. If any one has been treated like this file a complaint with the bar. By the way don't you all think 40-to 60 is a bit much to charge to read a E-mail and respond to that E-mail .”
“Called today in regards to an issue that I’m currently having and to see what my options are. The lady that answered the phone is quite possibly the rudest person I’ve ever dealt with. They’re not the only attorney authorized to practice civil law in Kansas. Go with somebody else. Don’t waste your time.”
“This attorney charged us for "work" that my wife actually accomplished, charged 250 to print 19 pages as well. Bill went above our retainer without a call, email or any notice. His work was incompetent and we ended up fixing all of our paperwork again. Bottom line, 2300 to get him to file paperwork to get us into court. Buyer beware.”
