“Came for a late lunch and it was really good. I really loved their onion rings and the patty melt is top notch. They give you a huge 44 oz cup for your soda. Spent about $40 for the two of us not including the tip. Service was great. The establishment is pretty cool but it's run down and too dirty for my liking (like they do very little to keep it maintained so there's years of dirt, dust and grease caked on to things including their floors). When we chose our table and sat down the seats were greasy and there were dead flies by the window. I was a bit apprehensive eating there but they claim to have the best burgers so I had to find out. Bathroom had no toilet paper and their sink was not working properly. It's really hard to wash hands when you just get a slow dribble. I would recommend for the food if you can get past the cleanliness.”

“The food was ok...i do recommend the fried anything...pickles, squash, okra, onion rings, fries...all delicious. The catfish wasn't cooked through..neither were the hushpuppies. No elk burgers. No bison burgers. They were out of fried zucchini. The fried catfish was supposed to come with coleslaw, but they brought out a salad instead. The fat guy burgers were good but I like prefer Ehataburger sweet and spicy bacon burgers (same sauce). The sweet tea tasted like sugar water and the Pepsi was flat. Overall, a good place to hang out with friends over appetizers. The service was good. The young lady attended us with a smile and was very sweet. We went at a time when it was dead, im betting if it were during the week on an evening it would have been hopping. Will give it a second shot in the future, but not planning on making it a regular spot.”

“Great quick service Sunday morning. I had the Blu cheese burger, (I forget the specific name) personally not my thing. I love burgers and my sister seemed to really like hers. The fries here are very good and on the same level as Five Guys. (Who I love) The onion rings here are very nice and the batter was very crunchy.”

“Stopped by on a whim on a trip home from DFW, absolutely blown away. Excellent food served by wonderful folks in a charming, kitsch filled building. I had the Bacon and Bleu burger with the handcut fries and will be back most assuredly!”
