About

Service Response Team works out of Watauga just north of Fort Worth in Texas and focuses on HVAC repairs along with plumbing services for apartments and homes. They handle calls from property managers and residents when cooling systems fail or pipes cause trouble in the local heat. The company sends techs to complexes across the area where units run hard through long summers and occasional winter freezes that can knock out compressors or create leaks. Their work covers both routine maintenance and emergency fixes on residential setups that homeowners and managers deal with regularly in this part of Texas.

Techs like Eli have traced bad wiring inside bathroom vents that kept blowing compressors and left tenants relying on portable units until a new system arrived after an eleven day wait. Ricardo and Raymond once spent a full July Fourth replacing an entire AC unit at one complex and stayed until everything ran right while answering every question from the resident. The crew also handles plumbing tasks such as spotting leaks that lead to major repairs and they show up for both air conditioning installs and pipe work at the same properties where managers have relied on them for a decade. Jobs often involve quick diagnostics on failed equipment followed by full replacements when parts cannot be salvaged.

Customers note that some techs know their systems well and finish AC or plumbing calls without cutting corners yet others complain about rough arrivals and unfinished cleanup after big jobs. Speed gets credit on holiday fixes while quality varies depending on the crew sent out and price feedback stays limited across the board. Communication holds steady when techs stay to explain fixes but drops when teams move fast without full follow through. DIRT Score 2.79 from 19 reviews on Finds.

What Customers Say

Eli is the man! He came by on behalf of corporate for our complex to review and found wiring was not done correct inside the bathroom vent area which caused our ac to literally blow compressor after we moved in and required portable units and shipped a brand new ac unit (11 day waiting period to arrive) It was hell during that month and all it took was a simple 10 min wiring fix and now our ac is fixed! 5 star give this man Eli a promotion. Thank you 🙏 from Ryan at cottages of Tulane apt 1408. You are a godsend!

We were without AC for 8 days until our apartment complex called SRT out to help get it fixed. Ricardo and Raymond spent the early morning and afternoon on July 4th replacing our AC unit. They did not leave until they were 100% certain it was working properly and answered all the questions I had regarding the issue at hand. We are SO appreciative of their hard work, customer service, and kindness!!!

Woke up to banging on my door. When I say banging, it was as if the fire department was evacuating the building and needed me out. I answer and two guys suspect a leak. Sure enough my bathtub needed to be replaced. I left for work and came back to heavy loads of clothes on top of a small tv and acoustic guitar on my bed as of they did not care about my belongings. They didn't find anything in the closet but left all of my stuff out. They blamed maintenance. The apartment manager blamed them. My hardwood floor had a trail the width of a sidewalk and about the same color from the front door to the bathroom. As they left one man told me they finished there job. All of my toiletries were scattered all over the bathroom floor and dirt/construction by-product covered my entire floor. I guess they are good for a quick fix, but they lack the respect towards someone's home. They at least got the job done.

We have been using SRT for over 10 years at the apartment community, where I am employed. They have some really knowledgeable techs and they get the job done whether its AC work or plumbing. I can definitely and HIGHLY recommend.

Matthew came out and saved us from a flooded bathroom because of an upstairs leak. The ceiling caved in on him during his repair. He still stayed positive and was able to get the job done. Plus it was cleaner when he left than it was before he got here. Thank you again Matthew.
