About

Ski Heating & Air runs out of El Paso, Texas as an HVAC contractor that handles heating ventilating and air conditioning work for homes and commercial properties in the area. They sit at 13626 Martha and joined the Procore network in September 2023 to manage jobs that keep systems running through the local heat. The outfit focuses on specialty HVAC tasks without claiming to do every trade under the sun and stays active on projects that fit the Texas market where extreme temperatures put constant pressure on cooling equipment. Homeowners here often need quick reliable service on existing units rather than full replacements and this company steps into that role.

Their crews handle repairs on air conditioning systems and send technicians like Chad who show up to diagnose and fix problems instead of pushing new equipment on every call. Customers have seen the team work on units that other outfits wanted to scrap and the results keep the original systems going at lower cost. Service includes general HVAC maintenance and troubleshooting but reaching dispatch can drag out especially on weekends when calls and texts go unanswered and property managers get looped in without much luck. The work stays direct with techs described as nice and straightforward on site yet the scheduling side leaves gaps when the Texas sun makes a failed AC dangerous fast.

Reviewers give credit for honest repairs that avoid unnecessary sales and for friendly crews that actually solve the issue on existing equipment while complaints center on rude phone handling and poor weekend availability that leaves people stuck. These patterns mix to produce an average score that reflects both the solid field work and the communication shortfalls that frustrate customers in urgent situations. What Customers Say

Called to speak with a manager about an issue, and the woman who answered the phone said, “no thank you” and hung up on me. When I tried calling back ahead refused to answer the phone and it went to VM. Outrageous.

The woman answering the phone lacked the basic ability to obtain information in a respectful, considerate manner.

The technician was very nice but it's rather difficult to get in touch with someone on the weekend. I called and texted AND called my property management company. Silence. When your AC goes out in Texas things get dangerous. There needs to be some kind of come to Jesus meeting with their dispatchers.

Really honest great company. I’ve dealt with a few AC companies. Most try to push new units and don’t fix them. Highly recommend! Chad is an awesome guy and the gentleman that came here were just so nice.

My AC unit stopped blowing cool air in the middle of the day in the summer and my house got up to 87 degrees (with myself and 3 pets in the house). I called around to several places and most were so booked they couldn’t check out my unit for 3-5 days. I called Sky, they were able to get someone out within the hour. Heath got to work right away, found the problem, and fixed it efficiently and quickly. Without their rapid help, my house temperature easily would have kept rising and put my pets lives at risk. Heath also was friendly and didn’t mind that my dog sniffed him or that my bird was chirping at him. I cannot recommend Sky enough!
