About

Top Gun Heating & AC works out of Fort Worth, Texas, and handles HVAC jobs for homes across the area. They run 24/7 calls for cooling and heating needs, covering everything from full system installs to emergency fixes when units quit in the middle of summer or winter. The outfit merged with Willard Air and Electrical, which lets them send crews to more spots without changing how they handle the work. Fort Worth weather swings hard, so they focus on keeping air handlers, ductwork, and thermostats running steady for local houses that deal with heat and cold year after year.

They put in new AC systems and furnaces, repair air handlers and ductless mini splits, clean and seal ducts, swap filters, and add items like UV lights or whole-house purifiers. Techs such as Abijah Cortez, Tomas Castañón, and Mark Cardiel handle cooling breakdowns, while Jorge runs full spring checkups on AC and furnace parts to spot problems early. One job involved a new system install that needed a couple warranty fixes, all handled same day with solid results. Another brought out a crew for an annual review that covered every component without shortcuts.

Homeowners note fast callbacks, often the same day, and fixes that stick without extra trips. Crews stay polite, explain the steps clearly, and leave the place clean, which adds up on jobs like air balancing or thermostat work. Quality holds steady across reviews, prices match the effort, and communication stays direct from start to finish. DIRT Score 5.0 from 117 reviews on Finds.

What Customers Say

Easy 5 stars. We had a new system installed about a year ago. It’s had a couple of hiccups, but Top Gun has always been responsive — most often same day — and the fixes have been solid. Everything has been covered under warranty. The workers have always been polite, communicate well, and respect your house. Top Gun is now part of a larger group owned by private equity. I believe it sold to Mansfield Plumbing, which then became part of Willard's. Let's hope the service level stays top notch. P.S. I'm still happy with my system too... American Standard. The reviews are solid. Unfortunately I got one that apparently had a bit of a QC issue. Unfortunate, and not Top Gun's fault.

I’ve had excellent experiences with Abijah Cortez, Tomas Castañón, and Mark Cardiel. They were all very pleasant and respectful and took care of my A/C issue. Their professionalism is great to see. Hats off to your hiring & training. They each represent you well!

TopGun and their new merged collaboration partner Willard Air/Electrical came out today for my annual spring HVAC check up. Willard Air, Heating, Plumbing, Electrical merged with Top Gun HVAC. Jorge (George) did a full system review, AC & furnace system components. Brilliant work; very thorough report walk-through with photos. Impressively professional and thorough. The guy George was awesome. There were some good catches that we can get fixed today, and extend the life of the compressor. Heartily recommend. We also joined the membership program to get on the bi-yearly checkups for AC and furnance in preseason times. Incredible turnaround! Well done all!! June 29th 2026: needed service & had an awesome experience with Stuart Smith. Mega knowledgeable and helpful. Exceeded expectations. So that is 2 for 2 awesomeness times.

Update: Received call from customer service and genuinely apologetic and is sending out air balancing technician to better evaluate issue and we agreed to go from here. Willard did acquire TopGun and want to correct any issues that were unresolved. Thank you and I look forward to coming to an agreeable resolution. Original post: Got new system about a year and a half ago. Excellent system but used some old ducting. The ducting is reduced down from nee system and supplies 2 rooms. Both rooms remain hot and now they (new company) have quoted me $2400 to install new ducting. They should have done a better job initially and now they have been bought out by another company sounds like they are not going to stand behind that we will make sure they system is working properly and that I am happy after spending nearly $21,000.00.

Donovan came out a was great. Very educated in his craft. Took time to answer all our questions. We always use Top Gun for all our HVAC needs. They never disappoint.
