About

Top Tech handles heating and cooling work for homes and businesses across Bryan, Texas. The crew draws on more than twenty-five years of experience in the trade to tackle the hot summers and occasional cold snaps that hit Brazos County. They keep both older houses near downtown and newer builds in the growing neighborhoods running right, whether the job calls for a full system install or a quick fix on a heat pump or mini-split. Their location just outside town lets them reach Bryan customers fast while also covering the mix of residential and light commercial properties that make up the area.

Technicians show up ready to handle real problems like a sparking attic outlet that killed power to an air conditioner right after a July Fourth holiday or a safety issue that needed several skilled hands on site at once. They have replaced breakers to restore cooling without replacing an entire box, cleared emergency drain clogs tied to storm outages, and swapped out old fluorescent fixtures for LED units when those jobs overlapped with HVAC calls. Customers mention names like Mike on the electrical side of cooling repairs and note how the team works cleanly, respects the property, and gets systems back online without dragging things out.

Work quality stays at the top mark because the crew knows the local systems inside and out and finishes jobs that hold up. Response speed earns solid marks when homeowners face sudden outages or safety risks, and communication stays clear from the first call through the final walkthrough. People keep coming back because the pricing matches the results and the techs explain options without pressure. DIRT Score 5.0 from 1838 reviews on Finds.

What Customers Say

We are 100% impressed with every single technician we have used at Top tech. They are bright knowledgeable and respectful of property. We had a major safety issue requiring multi level expertise. They provided amazing workmanship.

My electric outlet in the attic was sparking and cut off power to my air-conditioning on 4 July. It was very warm that day. They came out the next Monday and fixed it very quickly. I took the recommendation and had new breakers put in (the whole breaker box was not necessary) because the breakers should’ve tripped with the event in the attic. The new breakers were installed the next day. I’m very happy with the service and it will be my go to on electric needs.

We had an emergency drain clog at our home during the last crazy storm we had, so of course, our power went out. Talk about a 2 for combo of best in class trade guys. Dylan(plumbing), and Mike(electrical). Came out and got us fixed up perfectly! Top Tech seems like more than their name, it’s a badge of honor that shows in their work. Roasted panel updated to the 21st century with surge protection, and got us a brand new sewer line with pressure assist toilets. We can’t be happier in our house knowing that the lights are on when we need it, and things are flowing smoothly. Thank you Top Tech!

Job was to rewire four existing ceiling 4' two tube T-8 strip fixtures from fluorescent to LED. Remove four ballast and install 8 new 4' Keystone LED bulbs. Total bill was $1,381.17. I was charged $197.31 per bulb. Keystone 4' Direct LED bulbs cost about $10.00 on web. Basically, labor charges would be $1,300 for about two hours of work. Received quote last year to do this same work for $625.00 from similar Electrical/Plumbing company. Work done by tech was very good. I have a really problem with price charged. If not for the pricing, I would have rated company higher. I would not recommend this company due to pricing. Review Update 7-9-26 3:30 pm: I was contacted today shortly after posting my initial review by Mike White, president of the company as he was very concerned about my review. Mike was very open to reviewing my concerns and explaining to me his company's customer focused philosophy. We had a very good conversation, and he was able to understand and address my concerns. Mike indicated that he will be making adjustments to the billing based upon my input. I really appreciate Mike reaching out so quickly and his willingness to listen to his customers. I will keep his company on my list for future project and repair work.

Great guys. I appreciated the communication. Right from the onset of the appointment I was kept informed of arrival times and who would be coming. When the techs arrived they were friendly and courteous. These guys humanized the process by keeping things light and conversational; spending time talking casually about everything from my son's basketball journey to father's playing with their kids. That's the kind of home style grass roots neighborly approach I appreciate. Transparent. The tech took me along with him during discovery mode instead of hiding things away to fully and truthfully expose the issues. Now that's worth the price of gold. The one thing that stood out to me was something the tech said in casual conversation.."I'll tell you a lot of things, but I'll never lie to you" when he was discussing the issues. He backed that up with full transparency. Where they the cheapest in town, no. Where they the most expensive; not even close. What they were and remain to be is an honest, upfront, fully transparent and neighborly company. Nope, I'm not a paid sponsor. I'm a customer who paid for service. What I got in return is a company that I'll recommend in a heartbeat and will hopefully NOT be doing business with in the future haha...it means something has gone wrong again... But a company I will absolutely do business with from now on when necessary.
