What Customers Say
“This review reflects my opinion of the office staff rather than the physician, as I will not get a chance to see the physician. I scheduled my appointment months ago, and today, the morning of the appointment at approximately 7:30 am, I received a voicemail message stating it would be canceled—I was in the bathroom and missed the call, called right back and got the hired answering service, who told me the office doesn’t take calls until 8 am. The voicemail message let me know that Dr. Brown doesn’t take new patients and has not for a couple of years now, which is fine, but why let me know the morning of and not prior? I completed the check-in information the morning prior, and again, the appointment has been scheduled for months. The person on the voicemail also mentioned that they see I have seen someone with Sentara. That is correct, I have been with Sentara for years, and if Sentara had an office down here, I would continue with them, but they do not. I moved to Fredericksburg from Woodbridge last summer and have been driving to my usual physician’s office, but I am now unable to drive that distance, and in fact have to telework for the next year because I cannot drive for more than 30 minutes at a time. I selected this physician on purpose, I think she has great experience in helping people to manage what I’m being treated for, even insomnia (according to a brief Google summary of what she treats), and her office is very close to my new home. I will move on to the physician who was my second choice, a little farther away but drivable, and maybe not as much experience as I hoped for. I had to plan around this appointment, requested sick time to attend it, and now it is a waste of time. My time is money just like anyone else’s.”
“Dr Brown has been my doctor for approximately 20 years. She is a doctor who listens to you, actually listens. Never once have I left her office without my health concerns taken care of. At times I have needed an emergency appointment in which her staff worked me. If you are looking for a doctor who you can count on, she's the one! Much respect for her and her office.”
“This was my first visit with Dr Brown, and I'm glad that I was referred to her, she takes her time and listens to your concerns. I was disappointed with the check-in. When I arrived for my first visit there were two window open, so I went to the first opened window only to be told to go to the second window, the next person also did the same as me. When I heard the woman at the first window, tell the one who checked me in make the remark "Maybe I need to put up a Neon sign, so they won't keep coming to this window". I thought this was so unprofessional for her to make this remark, mostly because It could be heard in the waiting area. I would suggest putting up a Check-in sign at the appropriate window.”
“Very professional and sweet lady at the same time she actually listens to her patients with issues, very busy all the time, that's how good she is”
“She's awesome. Always seems concerned. Very patient and caring.”
