About

Don Montgomery handles HVAC work for homes across Freestone County, Texas. He concentrates on air conditioning and heating systems that must stand up to the area's long hot summers and sudden winter drops. Years on the job have shown him how dust from open land and constant humidity wear down units faster than in bigger cities. Local homeowners reach out when their cooling fails during peak heat or when older systems need upgrades to handle Texas weather without driving up bills.

He performs full installations of new air conditioners and furnaces along with routine maintenance and emergency repairs. Crews arrive with the right parts for common local brands and check ductwork for leaks that let cool air escape into attics. They handle thermostat problems, compressor failures, and filter replacements that keep systems running through months of nonstop use. Jobs often involve clearing blocked drains from summer storms or tightening connections loosened by temperature swings. Customers note quick responses to no-cool calls and straightforward explanations of what needs fixing before any work starts.

Fair pricing stands out as the main reason for the strong marks, with reviewers pointing out clear quotes that match the final bill and no surprise charges for parts. Speed and clear communication also come up often when units are back online before the next heat wave. The consistent feedback shows reliable results on both small fixes and larger replacements without overcharging for standard rural service calls. DIRT Score 4.53 from 533 reviews on Finds.

If I could give no stars, I would. Just finished watching a hockey game on February 12. The game was very late in starting, over an hour, not sure why. With 4 minutes left in the game, the rink crew opened a door to the ice and started yelling that the game had to end. This delayed the game by over 5 minutes. If the gentleman had looked at the clock and just waited, the game would have been over in about 7 minutes. But his embarrassing behaviour delayed the ending of the game for at least 10 minutes. To add to the embarrassment, he did the flood between the second and third period so fast that he missed many spots. He tried to circle back and get some but that cost more time. His arrogance and impatience cost the time he was trying to save and more. The City of Toronto should be very embarrassed by the behaviour of this employee.

They have nice ice rinks that opens until late on the weekend and during summer.

Nice venue, played hockey here. Lost a star for dressing rooms being so small, and snack bar being slow. Got both stars back for being on the doorstep of a subway station. Super convenient for those Friday evening tourneys when coming from the west end.
