About
Ken Parker Service Inc handles heating and cooling work for homes and businesses across Hunt County, Texas. The company has served Rockwall and the surrounding Northeast Texas region since 1977 with NATE-certified technicians who service every brand even though they operate as a Lennox Premier Dealer. Local weather puts heavy demands on equipment through long hot stretches and occasional hard freezes, so crews focus on keeping systems reliable for both residential and commercial properties. They stay active with the Air Conditioning Contractors of America and offer straightforward support when units break down or need attention.
Their services cover AC repair and installation, heating repair and installation, maintenance visits, commercial projects, ductless mini-splits, and indoor air quality solutions. Will McCallum has tracked down repeated problems on AC units, laying out how the system works and what each step fixes without extra complaints. Bradley S managed to get a PTAC unit covered under warranty after the manufacturer resisted and performed thorough twice-yearly checks on central air and heat systems. In another job the crew located coils that sat without proper support after an earlier visit only added coolant and missed the real issues. These techs test air quality and recommend products that clean up indoor conditions on properties throughout the county.
Homeowners note the crew stays honest on every call, explains options clearly, and finishes work without unnecessary delays or added costs. Reviews highlight fair pricing on repairs, solid explanations during service, and consistent results on both emergency fixes and regular maintenance. That pattern of reliable outcomes and direct communication shows up across the full set of feedback. DIRT Score 4.81 from 124 reviews on Finds.

What Customers Say
“Parker Service does a great, fair job. The recent Tech (Will McCallum) has gone above and beyond as we chase multiple issues with my ac unit. Will does NOT complain, but offers helpful information about the system's operation and what he is doing. We have another appt scheduled for another problem and he is extremely helpful and informative on accomplishing this next service call. While I am not callous with my money, I do not mind paying Parker when their service is productive and their personnel are TOP NOTCH. In my words, Will Rocks. It is in Parker's best interest to keep this young man.”
“I was having issues with my system since I moved in. We had someone else come out and all they did was add coolant. Eventually, my system stopped working. We called Ken Parker Service and they sent someone out. They found that my coils had not been properly supported among other issues. My system is now up and running and I couldn't be happier. They were professional and thorough. On top of it their fees are reasonable and I didn't feel like I was being overcharged for the 2 times they came out to get it diagnosed and repaired. We will be repeat customers in the future.”
“The service tech they sent, Bradley S, super guy, very honest. He was able to help get my PTAC unit fixed under warranty.even when Amana didn't want to help me. Also he does a thorough job with the semi-annual servicing my central air & heating system.”
“I got ripped off and you might too! I bought my house in April and one of the AC units stopped blowing cold air. I thought I'd just have the company who the seller had the AC checked out with before selling it to me come out to see what the issue is before I even contact the warranty company and let them send some random company out. Nick came out Aug 13 and basically told me I had a coil leak and needed a new motor which would cost about 4500 but also advised that there was no freon left and that he could add some and it should get me through the season. This cost me just over 1k. I did this because I am pregnant and just needed cool air and trusted him when saying it could get me through the season.... It did not, it only maybe lasted 4 days. So I proceeded to the warranty company in which the AC company they sent looked at the unit and instantly asked if I was quoted a high amount? I proceed to ask why and he advised that the motor does not need to be replaced but companies will say this because the unit is the type that is very pricey to replace the motor...they also advised the coil/unit absolutely isn't holding pressure and no way adding 8lbs of freon would be recommended...since the unit was over 10 yrs we moved forward with the warranty company replacing the entire unit and over course adding freon/labor is not apart of it so another 2300 out of pocket. I called Ken Parker Services to file a compliant because I felt it was negligent and really felt ripped off, even though I agreed to move forward with Nick's suggestion knowing I should have just went to the warranty company I thought I could trust their word. The lady who took my compliant advised the owner would reach out but I never heard back. I wasn't looking for any refund but since no call back I sincerely think this company does not care about their customers and just looking to make money, even if its by being dishonet.”
“I recently had the pleasure of working with Pedro for my HVAC needs, and I couldn't be happier with the experience! From the very beginning, he was professional, knowledgeable, and attentive to my specific requirements. He quickly diagnosed the issues with my system and provided a clear, reasonable explanation of the necessary repairs.”
