About

Wright's Air Conditioning & Heating operates out of Haskell County, TX as a local HVAC outfit that handles repairs and maintenance for residential systems. Homeowners in the area call them when units break down from the Texas heat or winter cold snaps, and they focus on getting equipment back online without unnecessary delays. The crew deals with air conditioning failures and heating problems on a regular basis, showing up to diagnose issues like lost cooling power or weak furnace performance that hit during peak weather. They keep things straightforward for folks who need reliable service in rural Texas conditions where options can be limited.

Jeremy handles many of the service calls, arriving on time to fix air conditioning that quit during the hottest part of the day and explaining the steps so the homeowner understands what went wrong. One job involved a same-day response when no other local help was available, with the tech calling ahead to confirm arrival and finishing the repair on the spot. Another call for a heating unit brought a technician out in under two hours, where he found a clogged filter as the cause and cleared it during the visit. Install work on remodels has also come up, though some cases required multiple follow-ups to address leaks that persisted after the initial setup.

Customers keep coming back because the team shows up fast when systems fail and takes time to walk through the fixes without rushing. Reviews highlight clear updates during visits and solid results on both cooling and heating jobs that keep homes comfortable year-round. Quality shows in the way problems get resolved without repeat issues in most cases, and communication stands out when techs like Jeremy keep owners informed from the first call. Speed matters in this part of Texas where weather changes hit hard. DIRT Score 4.98 from 167 reviews on Finds.

What Customers Say

Jeremy was professional, knowledgeable, and got our air conditioning running perfectly again. Showed up on time, explained everything clearly, and made sure the job was done right. Great customer service from start to finish. Highly recommend.

My A/C stopped working in the heat of the day and wasn’t having any luck finding someone local that could get to me same day. I called Wrights A/C and from start to finish they really did go above and beyond. The service tech, Jeremy, came out right away. Called me letting me know he was on the way, and showed up and worked on it for 45 min. He was very kind, professional, and I have nothing but good things to say about my service. Thank you Wrights A/C.

Unbelievable. Had Wright install a unit on a remodel with a complete tear down. 3 years later and we are still battling water leaking inside the house despite a minimum of 9 service visits. Owner said they would make it right only to tell me that after they replace one unit I am responsible for any future costs with no warranty period. So despite 3 years of being unable to solve the problem I am supposed to just accept the risk that the new unit is installed properly. Use at your own risk apparently. Update/Edit: I have no words. This response summarizes how some at this company treat customers. Heaven forbid you get a faulty unit/issues with installation. The insulting suggestion that YOU did it will come out. Always a great way to interact with your customers. Despite the response, it has been 3 years of issues. I think any sane person would expect some warranty coverage when a properly working is installed finally. I know the owner of the company agrees, considering we discussed it personally, and the company is now working to replace the faulty unit. But I still don't appreciate being accused of tampering with anything. 3 years….. 3 years of an ac that doesn’t work like it should and nothing but blaming the customer as if I had anything to do with it. Videos showing water dripping like a faucet.

I called late morning regarding a problem with my heating unit expecting to hear it would be at least a day or two before they could get to it. To my surprise they had a technician there within two hours. After a through checkout, he determined the problem was merely a clogged filter and even took the time to explain how I could read the trouble codes in the future and maybe avoid a service charge. Big thumbs up.

We woke up to find that our AC thermostat panel was non-responsive. Bought a new AC thermostat - did not fix the problem. I called Wright's and they were able to come out the same day! Learned that the wires going into the main panel were not secured to the breaker. When it came loose, we lost power. Not only was he able to identify a loose cable and explain that my main breakers are undersized, he went into the attic with me to explain how everything works. First time I have lived in a home in my many decades that required me to go into the attic. They recommended calling an electrician to confirm breaker sizing and cable gauge. Electricians were out the next morning and replaced the 40 and 50 amp breakers with 60 amp breakers.
