Montgomery Heating & Aire, Inc.

Montgomery Heating & Aire, Inc. runs as a straight HVAC operation based in Gassville, Texas. Their main focus stays on heating and cooling work for homes in the region. They have operated as a Trane Comfort Specialist since 1999, which means they stick with proven equipment lines that hold up under real use. Homeowners around Gassville count on this crew for HVAC jobs that address both summer heat and winter cold without extra complications. The company covers standard service calls along with bigger system work that keeps air moving right through ducts and units.

In Gassville, Texas the summers hit hard and force air conditioners to run nonstop, so common jobs include fixing compressors that quit during peak heat, sealing leaky ducts that waste energy, and setting up ductless heat pumps for homes without full central systems. Technicians handle routine maintenance to catch small problems before they turn into full breakdowns, plus they install new Trane units and Mitsubishi systems when old equipment fails. Work often starts with a site check to match the right size unit to the house, followed by cleanup and testing to confirm steady temperatures. Local weather swings mean these crews stay busy year round with repairs that keep indoor air quality decent and bills from spiking.

Customers keep coming back because the crew shows up on time, explains options without pressure, and finishes jobs that hold up over multiple seasons. Reviews point to solid quality on repairs that stop recurring issues, fair pricing that matches the work done, and clear communication from start to finish. Speed stands out when calls come in during hot stretches, with techs getting units running again fast enough to avoid long discomfort. This consistent performance across more than a hundred jobs adds up to the rating they carry. DIRT Score 4.17 from 112 reviews on Finds.

“Montgomery Heating and Aire has been fantastic to work with! They are quick to respond, work around our schedule, and keep our unit working efficiently. I appreciate their continued service and the peace of mind knowing they are keeping an eye on things!”

“They were very responsive when initially called tech was very good and polite. Diagnosed problem and had to order parts said they'd be in by end of the week. This is the middle of the next week still no parts, called 3 times now answering service says they will call right back .still waiting 5 days later. I will never deal with them again.”

“They did a great job but communication was a little less than expected. I live in MO and my mom lives at the jobsite in AR so I requested that they communicate with me, not her since I am paying. Each time they forgot and communicated with my mom so I had to wait for the bill to come in the mail to know what was done by their techs. But I still give them a 5 star review because they do great work, stand by what they do, come on time or call if not and know what they are doing.”

“I contacted Jason after moving here while constructing our cabins. we ended up with 2 Mitsubishi mini splits and they are extremely effective. Jason was very professional in coming out and reviewing our needs. Jackson and his helper came out for the install and they did a awesome job! I am scheduled on the twice annual service plan and that gives us great piece of mind knowing our system will always be in top shape. This last winter we had some really cold temperatures and I was concerned for nothing. It was -7 outside and we were a toasty 68 inside and I didn't even have it cranked up. Our brother in law had a dual zone mini installed in his cabin by Montgomery Heating and Aire as well and loves it too! Thank you all for what you have done for us!”

“I have been associated with Montgomery H&A since I purchased my home in 2013. Annual maintenance has always been scheduled and performed professionally and with consideration of my schedule. I am completely happy with their service and personnel. I am very comfortable with them and am happy to have someone I know I can rely on for honesty and integrity to do a professional job free from fear of being taken advantage of. The fee for annual maintenance is nominal for having someone I know I can depend on for emergencies.”

“Had heat pump go out over the weekend. Talked to Jason and he worked me in first thing on Monday. Kyle always does a great job… very knowledgeable and friendly tech! Highly recommend Montgomery!!”

“They go out of their way to take care of business! They are always prompt and efficient and explain everything. Russell did a very good job.”

“Much thanks! Jason came our and serviced our ac after hours.. Personable and professional.. Will definitely use you again..”

“MHA provides excellent service for our Trane HVAC system. They service our system twice a year prior to cooling and heating season. We have used MHA to service our system for 12 years now and have piece of mind that they will keep everything up and running! We actually purchased the Silver Maintenance Policy that includes 2 service visits a year for a very reasonable price. Service technicians are knowledgeable, courteous and prompt.”

“Company is very responsive. I had a complete heating and AC system installed at a reasonable price. Worked with me to set up a payment plan. Tim, installer, very personable. Teresa in the office, sometimes a little hard to get a hold of, answered ALL my questions and guided me through the process. She is a real asset to the company. Thank you for everything. JR”
