Aairco Air Conditioning & Electrical
HVAC Contractor · Granbury, TX
About
Aairco Air Conditioning & Electrical handles HVAC work from their base in Granbury, Texas. They focus on installing and servicing heating and cooling equipment for houses across the area, including furnaces, duct systems, and air conditioning units. Much of their activity centers on new construction projects where rough-ins happen early and final connections come later once the build advances. Local homeowners turn to them for properties under development or existing homes that need system attention to deal with Granbury's hot summers and sudden winter shifts that put stress on equipment.
They manage jobs that start with ductwork and furnace placement on sites built without loans, returning months down the line to add the cooling unit once funds allow. One service call involved technician Eric arriving to inspect a unit that appeared to run fine, only to find it needed attention to avoid bigger trouble. Other projects included putting in three new units on a property, though getting back in touch afterward for fixes created issues. They also complete rough duct and furnace installs under sales agreements, with the air conditioning portion left pending in the yard until the right time.
Homeowners have flagged unfinished furnace hookups and ductwork that sat idle, plus slow responses when systems failed after the fact and left rooms without heat or cooling. A service visit by Eric stood out for the detailed check that caught problems early, yet most accounts describe delays in completing promised work and trouble reaching the crew for follow-ups on new installs. These consistent complaints around completion and availability shaped the rating. DIRT Score 2.39 from 17 reviews on Finds.

“I rated this with one star only because there is no option to rate it lower. We bought a property that was under construction and furnace and rough in duct work had been installed by Aairco. The a/c unit and completion was part of the sales agreement and my understanding is sitting in their yard waiting to be installed. I began calling them in early December, now it is April I was to the point of calling weekly. Not only can we not get them out to compete the work they have already been paid for, I can’t even get a return call, only “I’ll leave him another message, he’s out today, we’re really busy” Finally last week we gave up and hired another company to complete the project. Big surprise, not only do they not come back, return calls, finish what they’ve been payed for…… much of the duct work is not correct and will provide no air to the edges of the residence. Now paying to correct their work as well. Long story short save your money and frustration don’t use them. I would not recommend Aairco to even put a window unit in a dog house”
“Told my husband for a few weeks that we needed to have our unit serviced. He seemed to feel like it did not and it was cooling just fine. I went ahead and called AAirco to have them come out and take a look. The nicest guy Eric came, checked everything thoroughly and stated that it was a good thing we called because our capacitor needed to be replaced and the unit needed to be charged. He was very professional, nice and explained everything in detail. Charged such a fair price also. Thank you so much Aairco, life long customer, will be referring them to all my friends and family.”
“This is posted for a neighbor that doesn't have Google... "An item that we all take for granted till we have a problem, Heat and A/C, then it becomes a must. I recently tried to contact the company. AAIRCO [in Granbury], that installed my 3 units new and here is what happened to me, your experience may be different. Starting on 09-27 I called Mike. I called almost daily till 10/03 without ever getting a return call just voice mail. On 10/03 I drove into Granbury to their office and talked to Sandy [lady at office]. She was super nice, but not much help. 1st I got the speech that Mike cell is broken. A week without a telephone or not even forwarding his cell to the office [carrier could have forwarded it] is not really good business practice but explains why I got VM for a week. She could NOT FIND my files on my THREE-unit installation. She was going to keep looking, but as of today, the 12th [9 days], I have heard nothing. Guess my file will be lost forever. Again, she was nice and took my information and would give it to Bobby who actually did the installation. On the 7th, 4 days later, I again heard nothing from AAIRCO, so I called to see why not. ??? Well to close this out - on Thursday I called another Babiash A/C and by Friday, the very next day, it was addressed and fixed. I am sure AAIRCO has reasons for not getting back to a customer on one of their 3 installed units from 09/27 to 10-10, 13 days, but as a customer, I cannot think of one acceptable excuse. Just my experience, might even have good experiences from others."”
“We are building a home without a mortgage so we’re building as we save money. We hired Aairco to do our AC/Heating. They initially installed our duct work and furnace (didn’t hook it up) as requested and knew it would be a few months before we would be ready for the AC unit to be installed. We called when it was time to install the AC and hook up the furnace, they said they would be out the following week... they never showed. Called again a week later, same thing said they would be here the following week and no show again. Finally came out and hooked up the furnace since we moved into the home and it was cold (October time frame). Said they would be back soon to install the AC units. My husband called on a regular basis asking when they would be out to install AC but never got a time frame. About January my husband started going to the office almost weekly asking them to please install our AC unit. First week of May I finally went to the office and threatened them with an attorney and they came out and at least installed the AC units we had paid for. BUT the installers said someone else would have to come out to service the unit and add more freon (I think that’s what he said). Guess what... still not serviced and haven’t finished the other minor things we have already paid for. So we have hired a new AC company to finish the job. Very disappointed in Aairco. We were more than patient.”
“Since the day Aairco got paid in full it has been like pulling your own eye teeth for them to come back and finish the job. Got stood up many times setting here waiting for them to show up. David the owner says he will call but never calls. Had some air filter changed out and was charged an $89.00 fee for diagnosis fee. Was told David would call but no call. Finally heard from lady via way email and note from owner telling me never to call his business again. Would not recommend doing business with this company under any circumstances. Buyer beware!”
