Evolution A/C And Heat
HVAC Contractor · Grapevine, TX
About
Evolution A/C And Heat operates out of Houston as a local HVAC outfit that handles air conditioning and heating work for homes across the area. They focus on keeping systems running through the kind of conditions that hit hard in southeast Texas, where summer heat and humidity push units to their limits on a regular basis. The crew deals with residential setups that need regular attention to avoid breakdowns when temperatures climb, and they cover both cooling and heating needs as the seasons shift. Homeowners in this part of the state often call on outfits like this for straightforward fixes on older equipment that struggles with constant use.
In practice the company takes on service calls for air conditioning repairs and heating maintenance in Houston neighborhoods, where common problems include units that stop cooling properly during peak summer or systems that need checks before winter sets in. Technicians respond to calls about compressors that fail under load, duct issues that affect airflow in older homes, and basic tune ups to keep things moving when the weather turns extreme. Houston traffic and long drives between jobs mean their trucks spend plenty of time on highways like I-35, and the work requires showing up ready to diagnose what broke and get it fixed without extra delays. Homeowners here deal with high humidity that wears down coils fast, so regular service helps avoid bigger failures when the next heat wave hits.
The low score reflects repeated complaints about how company drivers handle the roads, with reports of speeding well over the limit, sudden lane changes without signals that cut off other vehicles including semis, and aggressive moves like riding bumpers or flipping off other drivers on routes such as I-35 and Hwy 175. Incidents described by customers including A L, Cameron Jenkins, and J T highlight reckless behavior that puts others at risk, though one note from Steve J mentions a truck letting someone merge safely. These patterns in the reviews point to consistent issues with vehicle operation rather than the actual HVAC work itself. DIRT Score 1.78 from 22 reviews on Finds.

What Customers Say
“I’m reaching out to report extremely reckless and dangerous behavior I witnessed this morning involving a driver in one of your company vehicles on I-35 headed toward downtown. The driver changed lanes multiple times without using a turn signal, cut off several vehicles—including a semi-truck—nearly causing a serious multi-car accident. What’s more alarming is that this occurred onin heavy traffic, and the driver showed no regard for safety. At one point, after cutting off yet another vehicle, the driver even flipped them off and laughed. This behavior is not only unprofessional, especially while driving a branded company vehicle, but it also reflects poorly on your company’s image. It’s concerning that someone representing your business would drive so recklessly, risking lives and potential liability for your organization. The vehicle attached in the image but based on comments seems this is an ongoing issue with this company and reckless driving behavior.”
“Such courteous and safe drivers! A company truck let me in after I passed on the left when the lane was ending. I was in such a hurry and I was sooooo thankful he allowed me to get in front! Thank you!”
“As I'm coming home. One of your drivers was going about 30 over the speed limit. They edited where I edited and continued to speed. Had to catch up to drive just to report them. Breaking laws and driving recklessly and putting people in danger while riding up on their rear bumper. If you gotta speed to be somewhere on time then maybe you shouldn't wait til the last minute of the day to get to a job. Just reschedule the meet up time and drive better. People have kids in the car. Even I do. And I feared for my life and my kids as well.”
“Got flipped off for literally no reason by some entitled little boy in your company’s pickup. This was in Crandall on Hwy 175, October 21, 2025 around 3:00 pm. If the little boy wants to be a man and talk about it, I’m open to it.”
“Tough to track them down with all of the operational names tied to Agree Mechanical? So I had an experience yesterday afternoon on my eventful drive home. Heading North on 35 about exit 457, past the entrance lane end, out of nowhere a van appears in my passenger mirror on the shoulder and with a right hand directional signal noses me to my left, which was occupied with traffic, causing me to brake heavy, and almost get hit from behind while protecting a side swipe simultaneously from Agree Mechanical tied to the address from this business and a different web address. The driver is so dam% busy in his phone and then co tinues to weave in and out of traffic causing every lane to brake over his arrogance, right directional on while weaving across all lanes. Lesson, likely how clients are treated by this multi-named company. Watch out if they are weaving into your home or business.”
