What I Liked Excellent Seating: The airport seating facilities are top-notch. There are plenty of comfortable areas to wait, including impressive lounge spaces like the Capital One and American Airlines Flagship lounges that offer varied and spacious seating zones. Cleanliness & Convenience: I found the toilets to be in close proximity to the gates and consistently clean. The layout is designed to reduce walking distances, which makes the experience much smoother. Safety & Security: The airport feels very safe. I noticed a lot of clearly marked emergency exits, and the presence of the Department of Public Safety provides 24/7 security, fire, and medical services. Smart Infrastructure: Even though it is a big airport, the SkyLink rail system is excellent for moving between terminals quickly (usually in under 10 minutes). “Flying through Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport was a good experience. ✈️ The airport is massive—truly one of the biggest I’ve ever been to—but also incredibly spacious and well laid out, which makes navigating it surprisingly easy. The terminals are filled with natural light, giving the whole place a bright, open, and welcoming feel. There’s also a great variety of restaurants and shopping options, so you’re never short of things to do while waiting for your flight. “Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW). Don’t like the fact that the only way to the next terminal over is by train, someone please correct me if I’m wrong but I’m pretty sure that’s how it is. Had a layover here back in December 2025 and one of the trains were down and my group and I had to wait for the train to make 5 rotations around the airport before we could get on because it seemed like very few people were getting off. Luckily we had a 2 1/2 hr layover otherwise we would’ve been screwed! Other than that, the options for food were pretty decent and the architecture is nice.”
