Jeffrey D Rector
HVAC Contractor · Grapevine, TX
About
Jeffrey D Rector runs an HVAC operation based in Johnson County, Texas. He focuses on heating and cooling systems for homes throughout the area. Johnson County sits south of Fort Worth and deals with long stretches of intense summer heat along with sudden winter freezes that put heavy demands on equipment. Homeowners here often face issues with older units struggling against high humidity and dust from surrounding rural land. Rector handles service calls for these conditions without relying on shortcuts that lead to repeat breakdowns later in the season.
His work covers standard HVAC tasks like replacing compressors on failing air conditioners, sealing duct leaks that waste cooled air, and recalibrating thermostats that no longer hold accurate temperatures. Crews also install new systems in houses built during recent growth periods around the county. Jobs frequently involve checking refrigerant levels after summer peaks and clearing drain lines clogged by pollen and debris common in the region. Technicians show up with basic tools ready for attic access and outdoor unit resets rather than promising anything beyond solid repairs that match the original equipment specs.
Customers give mixed feedback on how quickly calls get answered and the consistency of the fixes applied across different visits. Some note solid communication when scheduling but point out that pricing can vary more than expected on repeat problems. Others mention that quality holds up on straightforward repairs while complex jobs sometimes require follow ups. The overall record reflects an average performance in speed and attention to detail. What Customers Say
“I've been seeing Dr. Rector for over 7 years now. He is incredibly thorough and well-informed. He actually reviews labs before your appointment, and he asks lots of detailed questions. He always takes time to answer my questions, explain things, and make plenty of recommendations. He's always up to date on the latest research, and he's honest about what the medical community does and does not know about emerging treatments. The office staff is very friendly. Overall great experience!”
“Well I typically don’t do many reviews but the practice has earned it. Was referred to this office by a friend. Contacted the office in March and was told the patient coordinator Mandy would contact me and that it could be six months before I could get in to see Dr Rector. Fast forward to July. Still no word back from the patient coordinator Mandy so contacted the office to check to see if I was on the schedule. I was told there was 75 people that had to be contacted before me. So it takes four months to contact 75 people? Asked to leave a voicemail directly with Mandy and did so and no response. Also sent an email to their office with no response. I asked will someone ever get back to me and was told not sure. They say their taking on new patients but their to busy to ever follow up. I give up. Moving on to another integrative wellness center in Dallas. Very poor business practices. If you’re thinking of trying this practice best of luck👎”
“Changed my life! I filled out a 20 page paper and had an hour of Dr Rectors Time to evaluate my whole life and not just the symptoms at hand. I left with hope and a new perspective of possibilities. Fast forward 4-5 years. I’m more attuned to all my habits and what I’m eating and supplements that are good for me! My husband and I both now see Dr Rector and his staff has been incredible! So grateful my physical therapy friend recommended him and I took the leap!!”
“Dr. Rector is a rare find in a time where finding quality health care with a holistic approach is so hard to find. He has helped me greatly and is an amazing doctor. His staff is attentive, warm and kind. I was recommended to him by a local physician where I live, who is also a patient of his. My family and i drive the 6 hour trip to his office for his unparalleled time, attention and holistic knowledge. He is a caring, compassionate and highly intelligent physician. I can’t speak highly enough about Dr. Rector and I also appreciate the fact that he is a Godly man who shares my Christian values. I have recommended many of my family and friends to him because I trust his expertise and want the best for those I love.”
“If I give more than 5 stars, I would! I am so thankful Dr. Rector was recommended to me as he was able to find the root cause of my illnesses and get me back to good health. He is very thorough - everything from the initial paperwork/history to the initial appointment where he reviews everything and asks additional questions. He is honest and basically told me it might take a few months to get to the root cause (thankfully it didn't take that long but it was good to know from the beginning that it might take some time). He is thoughtful in his approach, and doesn't run every test possible all the time. He openly shares what he is thinking and the reasons behind what he is recommending. Despite being overwhelmed with information at times, I always appreciate the depth of information he shares as well as the time he spends with me during an office visit. I never felt rushed and knew I could get all my questions answered. Now that my health has stabilized, I now see his nurse practitioner, Christy. I absolutely love her as well. She is knowledgeable, practical and shows such genuine care and concern. Despite driving over an hour to their office for an appointment, it is worth every bit of time driving and money spent to be partnering with such a great team on improving my health.”
