“My Carrier Air Conditioner recently developed an unusual problem. It ran perfectly during the day but stopped running every night after midnight. The error message was "System Error - INDOOR UNIT COMMUNICATION FAULT". This message meant that the thermostat was not able to communicate with the rest of the system, so the air conditioner stopped running. This was a difficult problem to solve because it only happened at night and it had many possible causes. It could be a defect in the Thermostat, the Indoor or Outdoor electronic control boards, dozens of wires and connectors, or a Carrier software bug. Progressive followed a logical and well thought out plan to isolate the problem and fix it. The Progressive service technicians who worked the problem - Rob, Jeff, Vinnie, Justin, and Roberto were all craftsmen and very knowledgeable. The Progressive office was very responsive, answered our calls immediately, and had techs at our house on the same day. I highly recommend Progressive Air, Tampa for all your air conditioner needs.
