Mountain View Air Conditioning and Heating LLC

Mountain View Air Conditioning and Heating LLC operates out of Hereford, Texas, where they handle HVAC work for homes and small businesses across the area. The crew focuses on keeping systems running through the tough Panhandle conditions, with summers that push units hard and winters that demand steady heat. They cover the full range of cooling and heating needs without any extra layers or upsells, sticking to straightforward repairs and maintenance that match what local properties actually require day to day.

Their work includes heating repair for furnaces that quit during cold snaps, regular AC service to clear dust buildup from nearby fields, full heating installation when old units give out, and air conditioning repair on compressors or coils that fail under peak load. Technicians show up with the right parts and tools to diagnose issues on the spot, whether it is a thermostat glitch, low refrigerant, or worn belts from constant running. Homeowners in this region often deal with dry air and heavy pollen, so the team checks filters and airflow during every visit to prevent repeat breakdowns and keep energy costs down.

Folks consistently note fast arrival times even on weekends, solid fixes that last through the season, prices that stay reasonable without surprise add-ons, and clear updates on what needs doing before any work starts. That steady performance across hundreds of calls adds up to strong marks in every category that matters for HVAC reliability. DIRT Score 4.98 from 900 reviews on Finds.

“At 8:00 PM, my AC stopped working suddenly. I called Mountain View HVAC for service, and got an immediate callback from the after hours technician, James. After he completed his current work on a job, he showed up at 9:00 PM to fix my issue. After an hour and a half of professional diagnostics, James discovered the issue in three different areas of the HVAC system and repaired everything professionally. Would an awesome company! And I thank you James for the hard work you did last night! SEMPER FI”

“Mountain View Air Conditioning & Heating LLC provides excellent and professional services to keep you cool in the summer heat and warm in the winter cold. Mountain View installed my unit in 2001 and has serviced it since with no issues. I will continue to use them. I would like to give a thumbs up👍 to Daniel who recently serviced my AC, he is a competent technician! I would like to see him get a Letter of Appreciation from his supervisor.”

“Technician was very professional and pleasant. He understood my request and explained what he could and could not do based on their provided services. Price was reasonable considering he made the trip from SV to Bisbee.”

“A friend heard I was having problems with a company who I was using to repair my air conditioner, She recommended Mountain View. I called the staff was friendly and helpful, the very next day one of the owners came out and temporarily repaired our air conditioner and talked to us about more permanent options. We are so happy with their service, they can be trusted and that is hard to come by these days!”

“Great company. Responsive. Reasonable. Friendly, professional and competent office and technicians. And the owner is hreat also. This year we needed repairs to the Evaporative Cooler in addition to the annual maintenance. Two i had pre-requested and one serious one we had not known about prior. The two I requested, I could not be happier with the results. When the maintenance began, it was discovered that the pump did not work. So new one was required. Grateful that all repairs came with discounts due to the annual maintenance contract we have with them. Very nice to have cool air again.”

“Tayden is the one helping me to check and change Thermostat. He is a nice friendly person. I thought i have to pay more than $200 for change new one but he told me it’s still under warranty although mine is 3 years old since they installed.”

“Chris showed up at 8:45 and went right to work. Found a borderline capacitor which was replaced. Thoroughly went over the A/C system. I upgraded to the annual service contract, instead of the one time service call. Which is why the price was a bit more initially planned. Good job, I would recommend these guys.”

“Avry is THE most professional and very knowledgeable young man I have seen in this industry. He was very patient with my many questions for him and he handled our stores difficult issues with ease. Not to mention the timeliness and ease of an appointment when I called. He was able to provide a complete estimate before he started and a written final invoice before he left. Very efficient! I will be using Mountain View from now on and referring everyone to them. Thank you Avry!! It's nice and chill here!”
