Ouachita Heat & Air

Ouachita Heat & Air operates out of Hot Springs as a local HVAC outfit that has built its work around the needs of homeowners in the area. They bring more than ten years of hands-on experience and focus strictly on heating and cooling systems for houses across Hot Springs, Hot Springs Village, and nearby spots like Malvern and Benton. The crew lives right in the community they serve, so they treat every call like one they would make for a neighbor. Their daily work centers on keeping air conditioners and furnaces running through the seasons without unnecessary add-ons or delays.

In a place like Hot Springs where summer heat hits hard and can knock out units fast, these technicians handle air conditioning repairs, heating fixes, and full HVAC installations on a regular basis. They show up prepared for common problems such as failed compressors, leaking coils, or thermostats that stop reading right, and they walk homeowners through what needs fixing before any work starts. The team also sets up new systems when old ones cannot be salvaged, making sure the ductwork and electrical ties match the house properly. This approach keeps jobs moving without leaving people without cool air for long stretches during the worst weather.

Homeowners keep coming back because the crew shows up on time, explains repairs in plain terms, charges fair rates for the parts and labor, and gets the job done right the first time without callbacks. That steady record on speed, quality, price, and communication adds up to reliable service year after year. DIRT Score 4.77 from 227 reviews on Finds.

“I am writing this review to document my experience with this heating and air conditioning company. After engaging the company for services, communication became increasingly inconsistent and ultimately ceased altogether. Despite multiple attempts to contact the owner through calls and messages, I did not receive responses within a reasonable time, if at all. On several occasions, the owner stated that he would arrive to perform the work, but those commitments were not met. When follow-up inquiries were made, various explanations were provided, yet no confirmed rescheduled date was honored. As part of standard business documentation, I requested a W-9 form. That request was not fulfilled, despite multiple follow-ups. This prevented proper recordkeeping and raised concerns regarding complia”

“It finally came time to replace my old HVAC system. I got four estimates all wildly different. I went with Ouachita Heat and Air. My criteria was a good quality system for a reasonable price. Nevin came through with flying colors. His team was in and out without disrupting the house and put in a beautiful new system. There's a reason why he gets 5 stars from everybody. He earns it.”
