About

Adco Service Company is based in Houston, Texas, right in the 77093 area, and they concentrate on air conditioning contracting work throughout Harris County. Since getting listed in the Blue Book back in 1997, they've handled the core business of HVAC installations and maintenance for local properties. The operation stays straightforward, dealing with the demands that Houston summers put on cooling equipment in residential settings. No fancy extras, just the practical side of keeping air flow and temperatures under control for everyday customers.

Technicians such as Bryan and Brian J handle calls where a Memphis Grill fails to show temperature readings despite fans running and pellets dropping, or where ignition issues create safety risks. They ship replacement parts, sometimes via next day air, and talk customers through swaps until the unit runs right again. One job involved Bryan locating components for a mini refrigerator under a tight deadline for a move to college, confirming the fix worked on the spot. Brian R joined in on another grill repair to match the right pieces and close out the problem without delays.

Customers note Bryan R moves fast to source parts and keeps lines open during fixes, which earns solid marks on individual jobs. At the same time, others report months of back and forth with Brian that left ignition flaws unaddressed and produced no real progress on safety concerns. Speed and quality show up strong in some cases while communication and price consistency lag in others, pulling the overall standing down. DIRT Score 2.18 from 30 reviews on Finds.

What Customers Say

After troubleshooting Manny possible causes, Bryan stayed with me and shipped out two different parts and walked me through replacing them. In the end, he was spot on and returned my Memphis Grill to full capacity.

After dealing with Brian for what seemed like a year it was a few months), I've decided to leave a review, since he was zero help. My new Memphis Grill tried to ignite my house on fire, almost since I put it in. There is a design flaw on the 2021 (possibly other years) ITC3 grills, where the junction of the drip tray and main box meet. Instead of making that one piece of metal or instead of having the flanges flare out, they flare in, which catches grease. You can't clean it thoroughly enough to cook a brisket or pork shoulder on, because as the grease builds up on the sides, it's a ticking time bomb that will be at 980 degrees long before your meal is finished. Memphis knew this and when they offloaded their product to Asia for manufacturing, they asked Adco to do the warranty work. When Memphis decided they didn't want to help, they sent me to Brian. After sending him multiple rounds of pictures, he told me to clean it. Sadly, it was a clean as it was going to get because the heat that had been through it on multiple occasions of it flaring up, had turned the inside and part of the outside black. You would think that would be apparent by the pictures, but Brian continue to insist I clean it instead of helping to fix this $5,000 waste of money. After almost a year of arguing with him, I decided it was useless because he clearly wasn't interested in helping and certainly wasn't coming to Texas to look at in person. IF YOU ARE BUYING A MEMPHIS GRILL AND THIS IS THE WARRANTY COMPANY, GO ELSEWHERE. THEY BOTH ARE HORRIBLE WITH CUSTOMER SERVICE!

I can’t say enough about the Customer Service I received at Adco. Bryan R was exceptional. He went above and beyond to help me find the parts I needed for my Mini refrigerator that my daughter was taking off to college. He understood that time was of the essence and he worked so quickly with me to find the replacement parts for it. So courteous and so kind and professional over the phone. What a pleasure it was to work with him! You know when you can tell that someone gets it and is good at their job? Well, that’s what I received today. Someone who was stellar at making their customer feel heard and important. Great company! You could tell it comes from the top down. They care for their customers! Thank you so much Bryan R and the team that works with him!

My Memphis grill screen went dead and although I could hear the fans and pellets drop I had no idea of temperature. Brian J worked with me and with the assistant of Brian R I received the proper parts to get the grill working. The company even next day aired my part so I would receive it before a 3 week vacation I was leaving on the next day. What a GREAT Company. A big thanks, Don Sutrina, Sarasota, FL

This company represents Unique Appliances for their warranty services (repair). They have 1 person for an area of over 4 M people and he refused to wear booties in the house. It is required for services per Unique for them to wear the booties. So I have sat on hold for several weeks. They have told me that they would find another repair person but in 6 or so weeks have not. This is a new fridge. Have had issues since the first week. There are a lot of appliance repair people in this area so not seeing why it is taking so long plus there should be several people available to work on it. Also had requested their mgr/owner return my call to no avail. I would not hire this company as they simple do not have the service providers needed to do the work.
