“CK Mechanical absolutely exceeded my expectations. My A/C failed overnight just as an extreme heat wave was arriving, with a heat index expected to reach 110°. I called four other HVAC companies first, and none of them could help me. At 6:55 a.m., I called CK Mechanical and explained that this was an emergency. I spoke with the owner, who simply said, “Let me see what I can do.” About three minutes later, I received a text saying that technician Jerry was on his way and would arrive at 7:06 a.m. That level of responsiveness is almost unheard of. Jerry was outstanding. He was professional, knowledgeable, and took the time to properly diagnose the problem instead of jumping straight to an expensive replacement. He found a failed time-delay relay, restored my A/C in under an hour. He answered all of my questions, and explained everything clearly. Honest, responsive, and highly skilled service is getting harder to find these days. CK Mechanical earned my trust in a single visit, and they’ll be my first call for any future HVAC needs. “It was after 8 o'clock on a Friday night when I called CK Mechanical. My wife had just driven 3 1/2 hours from Pittsburgh and arrived at our cottage in Lakeside to find the indoor temperature was 97 degrees. “Review of CK Mechanical My wife and I have been wanting to put a gas furnace and update the air conditioning in our house. Our three-season room is so hot in the summer and so cold in the winter, due to not having supplies in that room. Also, our basement was not heated, we only have electric base board heat in our house. When we bought the house, it came with a warranty. So, when the AC was not working properly the insurance company, sent CK Mechanical to our home. Kevin O’Rork came out and found we had a leak in the coil and the condenser. Kevin gave us some options to think about because the unit was installed in 1998. We went out for bids and for what we wanted done CK Mechanical was our choice. Kevin was one of the reasons we picked them, he was very good at explaining our options. Chuck Westenbarger In the office was very helpful in securing the financing for this project. Then the install! Jordan Diekman is a true craftsman and leader. I thought for sure the way our house is laid out the ductwork would have looked like an octopus. He led the crew of Kevin, Grant and Steven very efficiently. The team was very respectful to my wife and I. They cleaned up at the end of the day and left the basement very neat. At the end of the install Kevin and Jordan went through the details of running the new system.
