“We had a unit that lost 6 lbs of 410a refrigerant. Chimney rock did not provide us advance notice of their charges, and only provided an invoice more than one week after the repair was complete. Yes, 410 A is no longer in production. But their price per pound of 410a was significantly higher than that of other HVAC service companies. Chimney Rock Services has lost my business. I recommend any other service company that sells and installs Trane equipment, which is the most reliable. Sooner or later, older AC equipment will need replacement, and given the restrictions on 410A refrigerant, you will eventually find yourself replacing your units. The RUUD units are not as reliable as Trane, and I no longer believe that Chimmney Rock Services is trustworthy.”
