I called to schedule an appointment for someone to come out check my AC and give me a quote on possibly purchasing a new unit. I was transferred to Nicole who asked if we’ve received any previous quotes. I told her I wasn’t sure but I could check. My question was, “could I schedule an appointment”. Her solution was, “confirm if we have any previous quotes and we can compare apples to oranges” to avoid an unnecessary trip. Huh? And then went on to say, “because we are not the cheapest or the most expensive, but when I quote customers over the phone and they compare it to quotes they’ve received, they usually say woah, that’s pretty high.” For future reference, Nicole should offer a service charge for technicians to come out instead of discouraging customers from setting an appointment because the cost might be too high and the company made an unnecessary trip.”
