“If I could give this place zero stars, I would. Please do not come here if you have chronic or complex medical conditions. My father’s health was repeatedly dismissed. His concerns were not taken seriously, and despite needing specialist care from the beginning, he was never referred because the providers insisted they could manage his conditions themselves. As his health continued to decline, he eventually required hospitalization. Multiple doctors at the hospital told us that his medications were not appropriate for the level of care he needed and that specialists should have been involved much earlier. As a result of the delays and lack of proper management, my father suffered devastating complications. He underwent an amputation and ultimately lost his vision. While I understand that medicine cannot guarantee outcomes, I strongly believe his care was mismanaged, and opportunities to intervene earlier were missed. In addition to our concerns about his medical care, the staff was often rude, dismissive, and seemed indifferent to patients’ needs. Instead of showing compassion and taking concerns seriously, we frequently felt like we were being brushed aside. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend this practice to anyone with serious or chronic health conditions. I would encourage patients to seek a provider who listens, takes concerns seriously, and makes timely referrals to specialists when appropriate.”

“I would not recommend Dr. Duarte. I took my father here because it sounded great: Spanish speaking doctor and close to home. This doctor does not listen at all. My father told him several things about his history on different occasions and he still chose to order medications that more than 1 specialist told him not to take. In addition, the doctor ordered unnecessary tests and referrals, costing my father and his insurance unnecessary bills. I cannot imagine if there are other people out there that this happened to. My father trusted this doctor and I am disappointed that I was the one who set him up with this doctor and now he feels he cannot trust doctors because of the care he received here. I had no issues with the staff.”
