“I had Environmental Air come out last fall to check out my pool chiller because it stopped working. They were able to diagnose it as a motor issue, but the initial replacement cost was ~$1000-$1100 including parts and labor. I was able to find a replacement motor for $200-250, but the wiring was different than the original motor. Now that it’s summertime, I finally got around to having them come back out to get that hooked up properly. It cost an $450 for the trip fee + labor + working on a client-provided part. The rep was really nice and was able to get it working again. Overall, I was able to get it repaired by them for less than original $1000 they quoted (however, they don’t warranty the part since I bought it). Didn’t love trip fee, but they are based in Houston instead of The Woodlands, so it is a drive. Hopefully, the motors last several more years! Would still recommend to anybody needing their help. Professional, and reasonable to work with.”
