About

Gsc Wholesale Llc operates from its base in Houston Texas as an active interstate freight carrier focused on moving general freight along with refrigerated goods that demand steady temperature management. The company holds authorization under MC321875 and USDOT 312241 and maintains a sizable fleet of owned and leased tractors trailers and trucks that logged over fifteen million miles in recent reporting. This setup allows them to support wholesale distribution of items like food products across state lines while dealing with the demands of reefer equipment that must hold precise cooling levels during long hauls in the variable Texas climate.

Their operations center on dock scheduling and unloading where drivers frequently encounter extended delays with reefer units left running against open doors yet unable to drop box temperatures below fifty five degrees even when set at twenty six degrees during loads of fresh pork meat. Specific accounts mention repeated assignment to already occupied doors up to four times in a row along with complete lack of staff support that stretches waits from one day into the next without any resolution or accountability. Technicians or supervisors on site offer no assistance leaving haulers to manage the equipment issues alone amid the general disarray at the facility.

Customers have consistently flagged shortfalls in speed from multi hour or multi day dock times and communication failures where no updates or responsibility are provided by anyone involved. Quality suffers when reefer performance fails to protect cargo as intended and the overall pattern of these complaints across hundreds of interactions produces the low marks. What Customers Say

I've been here over 6 hrs waiting to be completed. Reefer running with the doors open against the door with a temp setting at 26 and the reefer unit constantly running the box temp is above 55° and I am hauling pork fresh or was fresh meat. Consumers beware make for sure that if you are buying from somewhere that grocery supply provides their inventory you are definitely not getting a product worth buying. I am sure Smithfield would love to know that their products are being distributed by a middle man that is going to mess around and get someone sick if not worse. Houstonian folks be careful.

They treat truck drivers in the worst way. They assigned me a door that is already taken not one but 4 times. Nobody helps you, there is a complete caos. I'm trying to get unloaded since yesterday (7/8/24). This is day 2 ...been here for 5 hours and nothing yet. No one takes responsibility nor takes decisions Will never come back here. AVOID IT !!!

They need to swap security guards teams especially the supervisors” short black lady”..she talk with no respect, like we’re her kids…lady don’t bring your issues at work leave it at home.

Well … reviews are not lying. Absolutely no communication between receiver and driver. Sitting at the dock for 6 hours , still not unloaded .

Worst place to unload. Friendly staff cannot make up for the lack of dock planning or work ethics here! Took a load from Ferrera Candy Co in Grand View TX. 730.00. Took them 4 hours to load causing me to be 30 minutes late to Grocers Supply. Checked in and got a door immediately only to have the crew unload other trucks on to my space and not start the unloading process on my trailer until 6 hours later. It is now 12 hours later and they are still breaking candy down. If you are an owner/op or a conciseness company driver refuse to take loads to this company! Also wasting a lot of refer fuel in an out dated dry dock that they are pulling candy from. One year ago I nearly missed the birth of my second son at the hospital because of this customer. I thought giving them a second chance would be the right thing to do. Boy...was I wrong! This place doesn’t care. Take a look at they’re docks. Look at the work environment of they’re office. Broken dry wall every where. Moist humid place with bad lightning A confusing yard to pull into for checking in. Yard dogs racing around like they are over worked. And a skeleton crew assigned 10-15 trucks. Grocers Supply is also Charging extreme lumper fees up front. So there is absolutely 0 incentive for them to get you off the dock. This place has extortion written all over the walls!
