HVAC HEROES, LLC

HVAC Heroes LLC handles heating and cooling work in Houston. Tristan runs the family owned outfit and they focus on air conditioning and heat repair, replacements, and maintenance. They also book same day jobs for fixes like capacitor swaps, fan motor replacements, and new unit installs across Houston neighborhoods including Katy, Tomball, Sugarland, and areas like the Heights and Memorial. The company keeps hours from six in the morning until ten at night every day of the week.

Customers call them for fast diagnosis when an air conditioner quits or blows hot air. Techs named Justin, Tristan, Louis, Jordan, and Taylor have replaced thermostats, checked warranties on parts, handled condenser and evaporator coil work, and performed routine maintenance on furnaces and condensers. One job involved swapping a faulty fan motor the day after the first visit. Another covered upgrading from a three ton to a four ton unit with options laid out clearly. Reviews note they fixed issues on units that were not part of the original call and returned the next day with ordered parts.

They answer calls quickly, often the same day or within a couple hours, and send proposals the next day after looking at the system. Pricing comes in competitive with other bids and sometimes half price on a second unit. Techs explain problems and choices without pressure, keep the work area clean, and follow up on requests. Service covers the full list of Houston spots from downtown to Clear Lake and Missouri City.

Reviewers mention fast arrivals, honest assessments, and solid results on repairs and installs. Common notes cover knowledgeable techs, clear communication, and fair costs on everything from simple capacitor jobs to full replacements. DIRT Score 4.6 from 499 reviews on Finds.

“We had a solid experience here, though a few important details kept it from being perfect. Tristan arrived to survey what we needed the same day I requested a quote--a quote which was free. He was courteous and professional. My husband and I really appreciated his approach and demeanor. He took a look at our units-- figured out and fixed an issue on one we did not call about 🙏🏼, and sent us, that night, a reasonable just above average quote on the major issue. He had his techs out early the next morning to fix the major issue with the other unit, which was the replacement of a faulty fan motor. <---Prompt and professional, and we felt very encouraged that we'd found the HVAC company for us. Considering our circumstances, HVAC Heroes was an apt company description in our opinion. Ultimately, we were grateful. The important details that keep this review from an excellent designation are, 1. The finish of the repair. The technicians did indeed replace the fan motor, but they left exposed wires that needed to be rewired and secured. 2. A complete lack of explanation of the repairs by the attending technicians. This includes a lack of photos of the tests of the accompanying electrical ”

“Great service over two appointments with Tristan, Louis, and Jordan. These guys are knowledgeable, professional, and courteous. Like the tech that HVAC Heroes uses when called. A virtual agent that sounds so real and delivers to them. Calls promptly returned and they know why the customer called, the return number, etc. I had routine maintenance done on two furnaces and condensers. Priced for one then about 1/2 price for the second. Discussed plans to install a Daikin mini-split in a bedroom far from the furnace that doesn't get airflow. Received a proposal with a competitive price the next day. Also, on replacing an old thermostat with a new IoT Nest unit. Been trying out several HVAC firms in Houston, all who were trying to scam us or had already gouged us plenty in the past and tried twisting our arms with monthly maintenance contracts. Found HVAC Heroes via referral from a friend and customer of theirs who does project management for custom luxury residences in 77019. Recommend HVAC Heroes to anybody looking for a new HVAC company.”

“I recently had the pleasure of working with Triston, the owner of HVAC Heroes, and I can’t recommend him highly enough. From the moment I reached out for a consultation, his confidence and expertise were immediately apparent. Triston is not only knowledgeable about HVAC systems but also incredibly trustworthy. He approached our discussions with transparency and integrity, ensuring that I felt comfortable every step of the way. Unlike many service providers, he didn’t pressure me into decisions; instead, he educated me on my options, showcasing his genuine desire to help. What truly impressed me was his ability to price and market his services effectively. He understood the value of his work and communicated that clearly, making it easy for me to see why choosing HVAC Heroes was the best decision. When I found myself in urgent need of a new unit—especially one from the 1900s—Triston went above and beyond. He arranged for a same-day installation, which was nothing short of miraculous given the short notice. His commitment to customer satisfaction is commendable, and I am immensely grateful for his prompt and professional service.”

“I just wanted to take a moment to recognize the outstanding service provided by the HVAC technician Justin. He was extremely professional, punctual, and knowledgeable throughout the entire visit. He took the time to explain everything clearly, answered all of my questions, and made sure the job was done correctly and efficiently. His attention to detail and excellent customer service truly stood out. It’s hard to find someone who is both skilled and personable, and he exceeded expectations in every way. Highly recommend his services!”

“I had an excellent experience with HVAC Heroes! Their service was fast, professional, and they responded quickly when I needed help. A special shoutout to Triston for doing an outstanding job. He was knowledgeable, courteous, and took the time to explain everything clearly. He got my A/C back up and running quickly and made the entire process stress-free. If you’re looking for reliable HVAC service, I highly recommend HVAC Heroes and ask for Triston you won’t be disappointed!”

“HVAC Heroes responded quickly to come look at our AC system that had stopped working. In the end, they recommended replacing the unit. We had gotten a quote from another company who could not get us scheduled for 2 weeks in Texas. HVAC Heroes had us scheduled and taken care of within a couple days. They were competitively priced with the other company, but offered free consultation and were able to get the job done much faster!”

“I feel truly blessed to have chosen Tristan, the owner of HVAC Heroes, after browsing through the many HVAC companies listed on Thumbtack. From the moment I reached out, he was already ahead of me—calling before I even had a chance to finish pressing "send." His responsiveness was impressive, and we scheduled an appointment for early evening. Tristan arrived promptly and didn’t waste any time. He got straight to work, thoroughly diagnosing my A/C, which had been blowing hot air all day. His professionalism and attention to detail were immediately apparent. After assessing the situation, he presented me with two immediate solutions that would get me back to cool comfort right away. He also gave me a third option that I chose to wait on, and I appreciated his transparency about the pros and cons of each choice. Not only did Tristan offer fair and reasonable pricing, but his knowledge and efficiency blew me away. His expertise went far beyond what I’ve experienced with other HVAC technicians in the past. It was clear he knew exactly what he was doing, and I felt completely at ease with his suggestions. I’m so impressed by his work and customer service that I’ll definitely be calling o”

“Where do I begin? First of all, they came within minutes of my initial call to do a FREE estimate. After 4 second opinions I decided to reach back out to them. Triston was absolutely amazing. He spent close to half an hour explaining my HVAC problem and going over multiple solutions. Finally, I decided to upgrade my system from a 3ton to a 4 ton unit. Although this was the most expensive option Triston provided several other more cost effective ways to deal with the issue at hand. He also offered a great discount and several payment options for my unit to be replaced instead of repaired. The day that the unit was replaced, they guys came in and worked very clean and fast. They had to come back the following day to adjust something but I’m so happy with my new unit. Highly recommend them to say the least!!!!”

“Justin provided excellent service from start to finish. He diagnosed the problem quickly and even took the time to contact the manufacturer to check whether the repair was covered under warranty. He was respectful of my time and home, communicated clearly about when he would arrive, and kept me informed throughout the process. He ordered the OEM part right away and returned the very next day to complete the repair, oddly enough with another Justin. The work was done professionally, and my AC is working great now. I really appreciate their honesty, communication, and efficiency. I highly recommend Justin & Justin for any HVAC service needs.”

“We had a great experience with HVAC Heroes! They responded quickly, were professional, honest, and took the time to explain the issue with our AC. They fixed the problem efficiently, and now our system is working perfectly again. Excellent service, fair pricing, and great communication throughout the process. Highly recommend”

“HVAC Heroes came out within two hours of my call, even though it was late in the afternoon. The tech quickly diagnosed the problem and had our AC back up and running. Prompt, professional, and easy to work with. I really appreciated the fast service, especially with this Houston heat. I would definitely recommend them and will call them with any future issues.”

“Top notch experience! From the inquiry, to the communications, scheduling, and getting the job done; they were professional, knowledgeable, and executed well. Justin, replaced a part on our outside unit and before leaving double checked to ensure it was pushing out cold air. I appreciate yall!”

“Tristan and his team at HVAC Heroes are fantastic. I highly recommend them for their professionalism, prompt responsiveness, no rush and quality of work. I appreciate that they are a family-owned business. Although their quote wasn’t the lowest, I prioritize quality and responsiveness. Their staff is responsive and promptly follows up on requests.”

“We contacted HVAC Heroes after utilizing a contractor that did not know how to install an AC Unit. We fired him and went with this company. They were our 3rd bid and we are so glad we chose them. We have spray foam installation in our attic and we went with the top of the line unit. Not only are their prices good but they are excellent. Taylor, Justin, Louis and Triston showed up and they only took two days to undo and complete a totally new AC Installation. We had mini splits which are absolutely horrible. They worked until the job was completed. I have never seen such hard and professional workers in a long time. We are so thankful for them.”

“Punctual, reliable service from dedicated technicians who protected my home and floors from damage. Seamless installation and communication from start to finish. Unexpected mishap of oil spillage from old unit was quickly addressed with Triston’s assurance that his company would cover power washing of patio as soon as feasible. I have no doubt he’ll honor his word. Satisfied customer with plans for future business.”

“Quick. I had request a quote late one evening, then they were able to come out the next morning. Once diagnosed, which took about 15-minutes, I received my quote. I accepted the work, and in the same day, they had workers show up maybe an hour after the initial visit to do my repair. All done before 2p.”

“I hired HVAC Heroes through thumbtack… I reached out to a few companies for assistance, but HVAC Heroes were the first to respond and set up the appointment. My AC’s compressor was out and they came and diagnosed it assp, and set up an appnt to have it fixed the same day! I appreciate them being very professional and doing amazing, quick work! My AC is back running how it should be. I would recommend them to anyone having issues and wanting a professional to come and complete the job.”

“Great service. Tristan was knowledgeable, timely and honest. They diagnosed and fixed the problem with the AC unit immediately. We highly recommend HvAC Hero’s. We really feel they are trustworthy. Great customer service.”

“My wife and I had a really fantastic experience with this company, HVAC HEROES. The owner was very responsive and communicated through the process of an estimate, which was very straightforward and easy to interpret because of the system they used. They then showed up on time and completed the job. It's been almost a week, and we have not had any issues. The price was much better than the other company that gave us an estimate, and the work was completed very smoothly. We are having them come back out and address some other things. We are Very glad we found this company.”

“Justin and Justin came out to look at my AC. They diagnosed the issue fast, replaced a bad capacitor, and the price was way more reasonable than I expected with no extra service or labor fees. In and out quick, friendly, and totally upfront about everything. Highly recommend these guys.”
