“We stopped at Jimmy Changas on a whim after abandoning our grocery-shopping plans. Truth be told, it was a place I had avoided trying for years. We already have enough Tex-Mex and Mexican restaurant staples. Our first impression was so-so. To be fair, we stopped during the Sunday post-church lunch hour, so it was busy. While we waited to be seated, entering the men’s restroom was disappointing—it needed attention. It wasn’t the worst, but the impression was made. Once seated, we found crumbs and bits of wrappers in the booth. This added to the disappointment, but the staff was quick to respond when we asked for it to be cleaned. Our server, Shooter, was especially attentive, which was pleasant. The chips were good, and the salsas were basic. Then the food arrived and completely changed my opinion. I ordered the Rodriguez Plate with charro beans, rice, a chicken-and-cheese enchilada, a chicken flauta, and beef nachos. It was top-notch. Seriously. Everything was flavorful. My boyfriend really enjoyed his Pastor Pork Bowl. I tried it and—damn—there was not one disappointing item in either of our meals. Overall, the atmosphere was lively, the music was good, and the service was excellent despite how busy they were. Cleanliness could definitely be improved, but the food was top-notch. It reminded me to wait before making a final judgment about a new place. We will be returning.”

“We went in for a late lunch. It wasn't crowded at the time we were there.chips were served with a nice salsa and also an avocado and cilantro sauce that was delicious. We tried the Jimmy's platter and the Saltillo platter, with an order of queso for the chips. Both of us enjoyed our meals very much! Our server was so nice and friendly. Can give a high recommendation for this restaurant.”

“Ordered the pull pork quesadilla, extra pico and queso blanco(stayed hot for 15 good min) Perfect👌🏽 You get chips and salsa while you wait(salsa might be a little spicy for kiddos). Oh and the changa rita pretty good🍹. I went during happy hour and it’s worth the happy hour price lol And free ice cream! 🍦”

“Enjoyed the queso, guac, happy hour frozen margaritas and the seafood enchiladas. Sat outside so the kids could run around. enjoyed the free soft serve ice cream. Will return. Cane at 4:45 pm ànd waited an hour for an outside table so get on the wait list. Will return.”

“This was my first time going yo Jimmy Changas. When first walking in, it was pretty and welcoming. The waitress Amelia was very sweet, and helpful. The food was good, but the Taquito was AMAZING! The Sopapillas were really good as well. The only reason I gave a 4 star was because the wait time was sooooo long. It felt like it took forever. We got there around 4:30 and left at 7:15. The last approx. 30 mins were us just talking but rest of the time was waiting whether is was on drinks or food. Way to long, but would try again. We could have just gone on an off time.”
