“Tom with Smart Comfort Services was great. He helped me work through my home warranty company who were a bit difficult to work with but Tom helped in the process. Tom communicated very frequently with updates which was helpful in the replacement of my furnace on my rental property. Highly recommend Tom for you AC/furnace needs in Houston. “This review is based on my own experiences with Tom Lee of Smart Comfort Services where he earned his way onto my list of contractors / service providers that have a proven track record of integrity, are always a pleasure to work with, and most importantly have never let me down or anyone that I’ve referred him to. Tom Lee, Smart Comfort Services has earned his way on to my short list of contractors that I endorse. I have known Tom Lee for years. I met him in 2021 at a Galleria Area Commercial Property managed by one of Houston’s top property management companies. I was evaluating a flat roof when I heard a boom lift and looked down and saw Tom and an associate of his staging a telescopic lift to remove and replace an AC Condenser. I came down off the roof to introduce myself and inquire as to what they were doing. After briefly talking with him I called the property manager to verify that he was an approved vendor. When she answered my call I explained, “Hey, this is a courtesy call to verify that Tom Lee of Smart Comfort Services is an approved Vendor in your approved Vendor Program?” She replied, “Yes he is in our approved vendor program, as well as has been my AC Technician for my home for some time, and he is incredible!” I replied, “Great that’s good to know, I lost my residential AC Tech to Covid and have been looking for a replacement Residential AC Technician for my home in Katy, Texas, thanks!” Prior to leaving the property I exchanged contact information with Tom Lee and chatted for a little while. It was evident that he is passionate about what he does, and I showed him a famous quote from Saint Francis of Assisi, “A man who uses his hands is a laborer. One who uses his hands and mind is a craftsman. But he who uses his hands, mind, and his heart is an artist.” I first found this on Google Plus a long time ago and to this day I have kept a copy of it in my Google Photos library. When I come across someone working with their hands, mind, and heart performing at an elevated level I show them the quote and say, “Thanks for being an artist.” With Tom Lee I sent the image along with my Digital Card via text. That was the start of what has continued to blossom and last night when my AC stopped working, I texted him (Image attached of Thermostat) and texted me back, “I will call you shortly, and he did. He also said, “I will be at your house at 9:00 AM tomorrow morning, and he was. When he had my AC up and running, I said, “Thank you so much Tom, your level of service is exemplary. When it comes to referrals for my private client groups, friends, and family, any referral I provide them is the same as co-signing for them as my reputation is on the line. Often when speaking with private clients I hold up my phone and say, “I have accumulated thousands of contacts throughout the construction industry over the last 15 years and have had to deal with a lot of adversity along the way caused by people who let me down, owning their mistakes and making things right. These adversities also provided tremendous educational opportunities and I have learned who I can count on. I am proud to attest that I can count on Tom Lee, he has never let me down and worked on Mother’s Day which is why I wrote this review. Thank you so much Tom Lee for never letting me down. Today was a testament to your commitment to exemplary service.🎖️”

“These guys are great. They came out to repair a capacitor, and had it done very quickly. They suggested the coils be cleaned on the outdoor unit. I was reluctant, but I agreed to it. I am very happy I received this service. They also went ahead and made sure everything was good with my indoor unit. Not only is my AC working, it is working better than it was before. The air blowing out is significantly colder than before and it is operating more efficiently.”
