About

Morrow Mechanical Inc runs out of Houston as Amazing Morrow these days. They stick to HVAC work for local homes, covering air conditioning repairs when units stop cooling in the Texas heat, full system replacements, heating fixes during colder months, duct replacements, attic insulation, and ductless setups. The outfit keeps a focus on getting reliable crews to houses across the city to handle whatever breaks down from the humidity and temperature swings. Homeowners in Houston face constant demands on their cooling and heating gear, and this crew lines up the trucks and parts to match those day to day needs without extra layers.

Technicians roll out ready for the job, like Dee who carried the exact parts needed for an AC repair right on his truck after an easy text scheduling notice that included his photo and short background. Brandon has arrived within hours of a no cooling report, diagnosed the problem fast, and walked through the repair in plain terms while staying professional the whole time. Mr. Boyd spends extra minutes showing homeowners the issues in person, answering every question patiently even with dogs underfoot, and making sure the fix holds up. The work covers quick cooling repairs, heating replacements, and maintenance calls where the techs explain options clearly before any changes get made.

Customers note the crews arrive on time with the right tools and parts, finish the fixes without dragging things out, keep prices reasonable, and explain every step in honest detail so nothing feels hidden. That steady approach shows up in how fast they respond to calls, how clean the work stays, and how well they handle follow up questions on everything from basic AC service to bigger duct jobs. The pattern holds across plenty of Houston homes dealing with the same weather driven breakdowns. DIRT Score 5.0 from 2159 reviews on Finds.

What Customers Say

Scheduling the appointment was very easy. I loved getting.a text with a picture and a short bio of the tech that was coming out to my house. The tech showed up a few hours later and had all the parts I needed for my A/C already on his truck. The Tech’s name was Dee and he was very kind and chill kinda guy and was very knowledgeable. He took care of our a/c system and had it running great again within an hour. He also did a check on my system in the attic to make sure everything was in good condition. This was my first experience with Amazing Morrow and I will be using them again the next time my HVAC system needs repair. Highly recommended company.

We loved Mr. Boyd! It’s been a while since I had a technician explain and show me so many things. He was professional and patient with all my questions. The kind of person you know enjoys his job. My dogs loved him too.

Amazing Morrow truly deserves recognition for its exceptional responsiveness — they arrived just a few hours after I reported that my AC wasn’t cooling. Brandon, the technician, impressed me with his professionalism and clear, straightforward communication. He explained each step of the process in a way that was easy to follow, quickly diagnosed the issue within minutes, and had the system running smoothly the next day after replacing the faulty part. I’ll definitely continue using this company for all my AC needs.

I had an excellent experience with Brandon. He is an exceptional technician—highly professional, knowledgeable, and clearly very experienced in his field. He quickly diagnosed and repaired our AC issue and took the time to explain everything in a clear and honest way. What impressed me the most was not only his technical expertise, but also the valuable recommendations he provided to help prevent future problems and improve the efficiency of our system. It was obvious from the way he worked and explained things that he has many years of experience. I truly appreciate his professionalism, attention to detail, and dedication to doing the job right. I would highly recommend Brandon to anyone looking for a trustworthy and skilled technician.

Disclosure: I'm a furnace engineer. I decided to replace a builder-grade 1-stage Lennox system that blew an evaporator coil leak and lost all refrigerant charge. Upgraded to a variable-speed system: Lennox EL18 variable-capacity outdoor unit & Lennox SL280 2-stage communicating gas furnace. Trevor B. came out to inspect/quote the job and was great to work with! Wasn't pushy at all and gave plenty of time to think through options. I originally wanted to go with the SL290 condensing furnace and EL22 outdoor unit, but he steered me towards the 80% furnace (better value for the milder southern winter) with the EL18 outdoor unit. Appreciated that his goal was to get me good value and wasn't solely to get a high commission. Val C. was the lead installer the day of the install and did a fantastic job. I've never come across any other HVAC tech who did as great of a job and takes pride in his work like he does. I greatly appreciated his attention to detail and not wanting to cut corners like too many HVAC techs do. He's by far the best HVAC tech who's ever come out to work on my system. He was thrilled when he heard I was an engineer because he knows we appreciate his kind of work and attention to detail. Chris C. replaced part of my fresh air inlet duct that was ruined from a bad mastic job by a tech with another company and made the damper motor accessible. This makes it easier for me to get the fresh air vent working again after I upgrade its control (current control won't work with a variable-speed communicating system). He also replaced an access door that had a loose latch rivet and wasn't sealing air well. My critique is he lacked some attention to details. He didn't re-install the inner panel correctly, causing attic air to suck into my system, and thoughtlessly installed a transformer for the UV light in a bad spot; more about that in #5 (below). He also told me that while servicing units, you can expect things like sheet metal to be stripped on your unit. I totally disagree with that; if you're careful and don't use an impact drill to tighten sheet metal screws, nothing will ever get stripped. Reasons I can't give 5-stars: 1) Gas input rate (BTU/hr) wasn't checked when commissioning the furnace in neither LO nor HI fire. For you non-engineers, this means if there is too much gas pressure going to the burners, the heat exchanger runs hotter than designed and could fail faster. 2) Pulling HVAC permits weren't mentioned, and I didn't know to ask at the time. I wish that was made more clear. 3) Cleaning the existing AC lineset wasn't made clear to me either. Another contractor discloses all of this on their website and is super clear about it. It's an important step because it can mean life or death for the compressor. I don't want a outdoor unit that cost me ~ $9k failing prematurely if that was skipped! 4) The 2 younger techs on the install left enough garbage around my new outdoor unit that I had to mention something about it. When you are paid to do a job, always clean up after yourself and never make the person paying clean it up. 5) For the UV light install, the tech drilled a transformer through the insulation and cabinet of a new furnace...leaving 2 screws poking out. With a little thought, it could've easily been installed on a panel inside next to the main transformer. NEVER drill through the cabinet, unless you absolutely have to. I contacted Morrow, they sent him back and he moved it to where he should've installed initially with my suggestion. That transformer is in the right location now, but the holes are still there from its 1st location. All I can do is keep them covered with foil tape. Still not 100% satisfied because It doesn't sit well just after spending thousands of $ on a new machine. Overall, a good experience and happy I went with Morrow. Some important things overlooked and have disappointment with the lack of finesse, but would still recommend. Younger techs need more emphasis on quality. Make sure you educate yourself before doing a job and ask the right questions!
