Even now that I live in League City, I continue to rely on their services. It's safe to say that I wouldn't use anyone else! Sadly, my husband recently passed away, and all of Lee Thompson's previous dealings had been with him. They were so kind to send me a beautiful card and plant. Thank you all for that!! Last week, I had the pleasure of working with the company on my own for the first time during a routine summer A/C maintenance visit. Dustin scheduled my appointment with Billy, who arrived promptly and was a delight to work with. He clearly explained what needed to be done and how long it would take. I felt completely comfortable throughout the visit and appreciated how well he communicated the process. The owners, office staff, and technicians have always been professional, efficient, and personable. “My previous review is null and void. After posting the review, within the hour I was contacted by Dustin Smith (Residential Service Manager) to enquire as to the reason for the one-star review...a pleasantly astonishing response. This Company cares about their reputation!! Dustin set a service appointment for today (Monday). The Residential Technician (Terrence Johnson) arrived as scheduled, diagnosed the problem and installed the proper part (which the previous HVAC company had wrongly installed), checked the system (including the air handler in the attic) and cleaned the condenser. “We placed a 5:00pm call to Lee Thompson. They located Adam , the technician and he arrived on a Friday evening in a prompt timeframe. He was able to diagnose the problem immediately. We have been using this company for over 39 years and there is a reason why. They provide excellent service and on going maintenance of their system. “It was a pleasure to have the guys come in and replace my unit. Joe, Rodolfo & Billy were amazing from beginning to end. They answered all of my questions and made sure I understood. Dustin was great as well! The Lee Thompson Co. is definitely added to my trusted vendors list for all my clients.”

“I contacted the company to request a service call, and I was told the cost would be approximately $140. The technician came, spent about 3 hours checking, but did not fix the issue I called about. In the end, I received an invoice of over $500. Later, the invoice was reduced, but I was still charged for 3 hours, including travel time, checks, and documentation, without the problem actually being resolved. No one asked me anything before continuing to work. I don’t know what the technician did, but from what I understand, all those 3 hours were just for inspection. What kind of technician, what kind of company, wastes 3 hours just checking the system without fixing it, without updating me on what’s going on? The technician also said he would check everything and that the company would send me a proper repair quote. That’s why I trusted the process, and in the end, I just got an invoice. During the correspondence, the company made it clear that if I don’t pay, they intend to take legal action. Throughout the process, I repeatedly requested proof that the technician was on site for 3 hours, photos, and also proof of a recorded call where I agreed to the rate. Unfortunately, I did not receive these proofs. I leave it to other customers to judge for themselves, and I recommend that everyone get everything in writing in advance, including all cost breakdowns.”
