Ust
HVAC Contractor · Houston, TX
About
Ust operates out of Denton Texas as a full service HVAC outfit that handles air conditioning and heating work for homes and small businesses across the area. Their crew consists of licensed and insured technicians who repair service and maintain most makes and models of equipment. They keep crews ready around the clock for emergency calls when units break down in the middle of the night or during peak summer heat. The company also handles full system replacements when older equipment can no longer keep up with Denton weather demands and offers tune ups to help systems last longer through regular maintenance.
Technicians respond quickly to no cool air complaints and perform diagnostics on compressors fans and thermostats to get temperatures back to normal without unnecessary delays. They install new air conditioning units with several options presented so homeowners can match capacity and efficiency needs. Heating repair calls cover furnace issues and system checks before winter sets in while annual maintenance visits focus on cleaning coils checking refrigerant levels and tightening electrical connections. In Denton the constant humidity and temperature swings put extra stress on older units so the crews emphasize prompt slab side access and attic work to fix leaks or airflow problems before they lead to bigger breakdowns.
Customers keep coming back because the crews show up on time handle the full job without dragging it out and communicate clearly about what needs fixing versus what can wait. Speed matters when the house hits ninety degrees inside and quality shows in systems that run quiet after the visit. Price transparency helps avoid surprise bills on routine calls. What Customers Say
“Terrible experience for my son and for us as family. They only care about money and put you in debt. Zero support and guidance from counselors, Zero guidance on school programs and careers, curriculums not aligned with the career purpose, excessive pressure on taking classes to pay more. It is expensive and they only care if you pay. Do not enroll here.”
“As the previous comment stated, there is a lack of support and resources. They claim to offer tutoring, but when I signed up for a tutor no one ever reached out. There is a heavy reliance on peer mentors, and that is a hit or miss depending on what the course subject is. Most times the peer mentors are not helpful, as they are busy with courses of their own. The student body and staff are friendly. There are some excellent professors here that are truly concerned about their students education, however, this cannot be said for all. Students complaints regarding Professors and their behaviors are often dismissed or completely ignored, despite a multitude of the students expressing the same issues with the same professors. Library resources are also limited. Many of the books that were listed as references in a course textbook was not available at UST, but community colleges had several copies available in their libraries at multiple locations. Furthermore, there is limited availability in classes. The times that classes are offered are usually inconvenient or offered on a rotating schedule (Spring, Summer, or Fall only and Even/Odd years), or there are not enough professors available to teach the courses, forcing students to scramble last minute or spending extra time at the university. Highly consider this before attending this institution.”
“UST is not the institution it once was. My experience here, especially in Organic Chemistry I, showed serious problems in teaching, support, and communication. I enrolled in an in-person class, yet the professor went on leave in Week 1, and the entire foundation of the course was moved online with no warning. For a class this difficult, that made learning nearly impossible. There were no tutors, no peer mentors, and no IN-PERSON help available for weeks. I went to the tutoring center repeatedly and was told that no Organic Chemistry tutors existed. I didn’t receive any real support until Week 9. When I found a peer mentor on my own, I was told she wasn’t allowed to help me. Basic questions were dismissed, and communication across the department was inconsistent and unhelpful. I also received academic alerts even after withdrawing because the system continued to show me as enrolled. This school may have had a good reputation 10 years ago, but that is not the reality today. I have emails, screenshots, and time-stamped records of everything I went through. For the price UST charges, which is $56,000 a year, the lack of support is unacceptable. I am completing my degree elsewhere. If you are a pre-health student who needs real teaching, real help, and real support, I strongly recommend looking at other institutions.”
“My daughter attends this college. I love the atmosphere and ratio of students to staff. It's a very nice University.”
