Visco Home Services, Llc
HVAC Contractor · Houston, TX
About
Visco Home Services, Llc operates from Houston, Texas and handles HVAC repairs along with other home systems that come through warranty assignments. Local homeowners contact them when air conditioning units break down under the demands of hot summers or when pool equipment needs attention as part of broader service calls. The company receives work orders for residential properties across the area, where high humidity and temperature swings create frequent equipment strain. They focus on responding to these warranty-driven requests for fixes on heating, cooling, and related systems that affect daily comfort in Houston homes.
Their work includes attempts to repair or replace components like booster pumps on pools, with jobs often stretching from initial reports in September through multiple follow ups. Scheduling runs into repeated delays around power availability at job sites, and parts delivered sometimes fail to match what customers expect for a completed repair. Phone lines frequently go unmonitored after numerous attempts to reach staff, while emails about ongoing issues receive no replies. This pattern shows up in warranty claims where technicians are assigned but progress stalls on getting systems operational again in Houston properties.
Customers note consistent shortfalls in reaching anyone for updates or resolutions, which drags down marks for communication and speed on service calls. Repair quality draws complaints when equipment like pool pumps remains unfixed after long waits, and overall value suffers from the added hassle. These themes appear across many accounts of warranty work in the city. DIRT Score 3.49 from 147 reviews on Finds.

What Customers Say
“Do yourself a favor and take this little step and you will know all the truth you need to know about this company : call their number And I promise you you will get a message that says this line is un monitored. I have probably called their number over 30 times since November and they have picked up once. The lady was actually nice. I never talked to the nice lady again Also, something else to know they’re based out of Houston so you may get to see them once a week or maybe once every few weeks. If you don’t live in Houston Don’t expect a quick resolution to your problem. I’ve been trying to get my pool fixed since November. Now it’s the middle of June. They’ve known forever that I’ve needed a new salt cell and every time the technician comes out there’s no salt cell. They have to take pictures or look at something else. This has been going on forever. Do not go to First American Home Warranty if you have a pool and these are their vendor you will not be happy. Tech showed up today and guess what no salt cell took pictures so they look at them and let me know.”
“Does this look like a new booster pump? They are who my home warranty assigns for my pool equipment. Have been trying to get my booster pump fixed since last September.”
“If I could give less than 1 star I would! Extremely frustrating experience with Visco Home Services LLC through my home warranty claim process. Communication was nonexistant from start to finish. I repeatedly attempted to contact them regarding scheduling issues, power availability at the property during an inspection, and follow-up questions, and never received any response. First American representatives also stated they were unable to obtain responses from Visco. During an earlier inspection, I specifically tried multiple times to notify them that the property would temporarily be without power and requested that the appointment be rescheduled. They failed to respond, proceeded with the inspection while the power was off, and then the pool equipment was later excluded from coverage without returning to reassess once power was restored. On the most recent claim: it took more than a week to schedule an appointment, the appointment was changed without proper notice, they did not appear during the scheduled window, and then later denied the claim after verbally telling me onsite that the motor would likely be repaired/replaced within about a week. The denial itself was based on an alleged “missing slab” causing flooding damage. However, I later provided photographs clearly showing a concrete slab/platform beneath all pumps, along with an independent pool inspection report concluding there was no visible evidence of flood-related damage or catastrophic water intrusion and that the failure was consistent with normal wear and tear. The overall experience caused weeks of unnecessary delay while my pool remained non-operational. Based on my experience, communication, responsiveness, scheduling reliability, and overall claim handling were extremely poor.”
“They are horrible. If you have a pool and you are at First American Home Warranty. I would not resign with that warranty company ever again just because they use this Vendor. They never answer the phone. They don’t respond to emails. It’s impossible to get a hold of Anybody. They give you the wrong days that they’re supposed to show up so you wait all day and they never show up. And when they do show up, you’re not there because they gave you the wrong day. The caseworkers at First American have Exactly the same experience with them. It’s beyond me why they are still being used by First American Home Warranty. I am still trying to get a problem resolved with them that has taken close to three months.”
“Christopher was on time and professional. He rapidly diagnosed the problem with our hot tub heater and fixed it within 20 minutes. It was just a faulty touch pad and he had a replacement on his truck. Awesome service, Thanks!”
