About

KW Mechanical LLC works out of Johnson County, Texas, and handles HVAC work for commercial buildings and homes throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth area. They also step into plumbing and electrical repairs when those issues come up alongside the cooling and heating systems. The company focuses on getting commercial spots like shops and offices back up and running fast, along with taking care of residential calls that mix trades. Technicians such as Jim Eggemeier and teams including Jim and Michelle handle the scheduling and on-site fixes without extra layers of office hassle.

Customers call them for air conditioning breakdowns during the worst heat, like the coffee shop owner whose unit failed at peak summer and got scheduled right away with clear timing from the start. One homeowner had four separate plumbing leaks fixed in a single visit by a plumber who showed up when promised, gave a straight estimate, and wrapped everything up without dragging it out. Another long-term client used them across three properties for HVAC, plumbing, and electrical jobs over two years, noting they adjusted to odd requests and kept things moving on schedule every time. The crew arrives prepared, explains what broke, and finishes the repair so the system runs right again.

Homeowners and business owners keep coming back because the work holds up, the crews stay professional, and the bills stay fair compared to other outfits in the area. Reviews highlight quick responses once contact happens, solid explanations during the job, and no surprise costs that wreck the budget. Even with a few notes about slower initial replies in busy periods, the pattern shows reliable speed on the actual service day, clean results, and honest talk about what needs fixing. What Customers Say

We have use KM for years. They have always done quality work at reasonable prices. Just had 4 plumbing issues taken care of today. The plumber arrived on time, gave us an estimate, and completed the work in a timely manner.

Beginning on January 24th I finally received an email back after nearly 3 weeks of Home Depot stating they put in a request with one of their contractors (this company). Finally by Friday January 26th at 2:17pm Jim Eggemeier from the company emailed me asking when I would be available. I replied January 27th at 12:47pm with, "All day on Monday or Tuesday" (30th or 31st of January). On Monday January 30th I emailed him at 8:27am asking, "Do you know when you are coming so I can make sure my husband is home and so we can move the car out of the garage to make it easier for you to get to the water heater?". Today is February 9, 2017 at 12:00pm and I still have not received a reply. I would never recommend them because after waiting and waiting (with a constant water leak in my current water heater, meaning I have a steady stream of water coming from the water heater to my drain in my garage) I have been forced to seek another professional to install my water heater. The picture below is the email correspondence. I removed my personal information but kept all correspondence with date/time stamp to corroborate what I stated above.

I own a coffee shop in Latonia! Our air went out during hottest week. When I called, Jim & Michelle scheduled us in for service-they were up front with timeline and understanding of repair. Attendant showed up on time, professional and knowledgeable about our system. Bill we think you are awesome! Great suggestions on maintenance and air filters.

I have used KW for plumbing, electrical, and HVAC. They have been consistently on time and professional, and have worked with me when I had unusual requests. Based on my experience with them over the last two years, between three different properties, I would recommend them to anyone. Price wise, they have been affordable but not "cheap". I've never felt ripped off or overcharged, and their pricing is transparent.

I normally dont write reviews but do not call these people. I received a quote from home depot for a water heater install. When these guys showed up they tried the classic bait and switch on my wife stating we needed a bunch of other things and the estimate went up by $600.00. One of the items was for an expansion tank $181 that i already had included in the estimate that was emailed to me. The installer didn't even call Home Depot to verify it was included. He had the nerve to say 4 appts cancelled on him the same day....Pound salt scam artist.
