“I had a technician come out and was quoted several thousand dollars for the repairs. I know HVAC can be expensive... and I would hate to think that they were trying to take advantage of their customers, but, now I’m not sure. After receiving such a high quote, we needed time to process and think about the repairs or if we wanted a new system due to all the maintenance needed. Our house was built 2018 for reference, and we were not planning on needing a new system. Additionally, the weather had been cool and we weren’t uncomfortable, so we felt we could wait. I called back the other day, and representative on the phone told me that the service prices may not be the same anymore and she would call back after speaking to their technician. They never got back to me… The longer I waited, the more doubt I built. Something felt really off, I trusted my gut and got a second opinion and called Weiss HVAC. They arrived and fixed the shoddy wiring that was done by the previous technician and explained that I did not need the work that was being suggested. I posted my receipts with my personal information redacted. I hope for this company, it was all human error because it feels borderline criminal. This was a truly disheartening experience and I have lost faith to use them in the future.”
