About

Joel A Ray handles HVAC work for homes across Kaufman County, Texas. The area sees long hot summers that push air conditioning units hard and occasional winter cold snaps that test heating systems. Homeowners here deal with dust from rural roads, humidity that strains equipment, and older homes where ducts and insulation fall short. This contractor focuses on residential heating and cooling repairs along with routine upkeep to keep systems running through the seasons. Kaufman County properties often need quick attention when units quit during peak heat or when filters clog from local conditions.

Technicians on these jobs typically address failed compressors, leaking lines, and thermostats that stop responding in the Texas weather. They check refrigerant levels, clean coils, and replace worn parts on both central air and heat pump setups common to the county. Service calls cover everything from emergency breakdowns on scorching days to seasonal tune ups that prevent bigger failures later. Crews work on rooftops and in attics where temperatures climb fast, making sure airflow stays steady and energy use stays reasonable for local families.

Customers point to repeated problems with scheduling and staff attitude that drag down results on speed and communication. Quality of the actual fixes varies enough that many report units breaking again soon after visits, while price complaints show up when bills come in higher than expected for the work done. The low overall rating reflects these ongoing issues with how the operation runs day to day. DIRT Score 1.91 from 20 reviews on Finds.

What Customers Say

The front desk is completely unorganized, and staffed with many extremely rude women, like they all hate their job with a passion, and it shows, maybe because of the disorganization that goes on. Dr. Copeland was also rude to me, maybe because he's getting up their in age, but I didn't hear him correctly and he asked to treat my son for an infection he had and he said "if you would have been listening the first time I told you his ear is inflamed." Extremely rude and unprofessional, maybe he should retire if he's that inpatient, this was our first time in this clinic and hopefully our last.

First let me say the lab techs are AMAZING!!! For a somewhat difficult (ok extremely difficult) blood draw. They almost always get me with one poke! Every other place I have been to takes several several sticks to get a flow from me. But not these girls! They know how to do it! I can't thank them enough. Now for the Dr. Dr ray and his wife are an amazing team. He is a no BS Dr. And Dr Milllus was my Dr for such a good long time. I wish him the best retirement I don't know if I will ever find a Dr that I trust like him again. And I also would like to commend Anna (I hope I spelled that correct) she is one of the nurses the. And she is simply the best. Friendly, and caring! And so very kind and patient. A real gem!

I came in in bad shape. Oilfield worker that messed up my back. Before going to emergency This staff was unbelievably amazing and caring. Dr Deleon was the man 👍🏽. Dr Ray saw me on my follow up. His staff was great and caring and one of the nurses even took off my dirty oilfield boots with no hesitation. Thank you all for taking care of me

I have had the absolute worst dealing with Dr. Ray's office and nurses. I was initially seen by Dr. Ray for lower back pain. After an MRI, I was referred to a neurosurgeon, which resulted in surgery on my lower back. After my post-op visit, the surgeon prescribed physical therapy. The physical therapy office had to have a referral from my PCP for my insurance. It has now been over a week, and I'm still waiting for my referral. Upon calling Dr. Ray's office, I was passed around to 4 different nurses and was given a different story from each. The last one simply told me there was no one taking care of referrals, and my paperwork was sitting in a pile of papers that had been pushed to the side and hadn't been touched in over a week. The nurses were rude and completely unhelpful. They couldn't care less that this is affecting my physical health. I am appalled at the way they would treat a patient with urgent needs. I will immediately be changing my PCP and taking my business elsewhere.

The most thoughtful Doctor I have encountered. I went in for a concern I was Very stressed about and he examined and told me I had nothing to worry about but then asked about how I was feeling mentally because he could sense my stress. It is rare to come across a Doctor who is caring about his patients physical AND mental state. He addressed problems I didn’t realize I was having until that moment. Forever thankful!
