About
B H Daves Appliance Inc operates out of Kaufman County, TX where the business has served local homeowners since 1921. From the main retail location at 218 W Moore Ave in Terrell they sell American made appliances and handle full repair and parts needs for the surrounding communities. A separate scratch and dent warehouse sits at 1108 A E Moore Ave and offers discounted new units that carry only minor cosmetic marks. The company stocks Speed Queen, Hotpoint, Maytag and Frigidaire models while avoiding Samsung and LG lines entirely and keeps regular hours that include Saturday mornings for customer convenience.
Technicians and sales staff sell and set up refrigerators, microwaves and dishwashers on a regular basis. One Frigidaire dishwasher purchased during the pandemic later stopped draining and the owner placed a call on a Monday expecting a return from Josh though that follow up never arrived. In another case the crew located the precise replacement belt a customer needed for an existing unit. A different homeowner bought a Speed Queen washer that completes three loads in the time an older energy saving model handled one and noted that the installers arrived on time and worked carefully through the entire process.
Reviewers repeatedly mention the staff as friendly and knowledgeable without any sales pressure while also highlighting the willingness to track down hard to find parts and the care shown by installers on delivery days. These patterns hold across feedback on both product purchases and service calls with speed and communication receiving steady notice alongside solid results on quality and price. What Customers Say
“I used this place to purchase a refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher. It was during the pandemic. Excellent service. My Fridgedaire dishwasher I bought from them wouldn’t drain. I called Monday May 25. NOBODY responded to my call. I was told Josh would be calling me. I NEVER heard from Josh I’m in week 2 of trying to get my dishwasher fixed. There is an old lady up there extremely RUDE she couldn’t tell me when or if Josh was going to call me back. After my 3rd attempt in one day to talk to Josh I’m on week 2 of waiting for Josh to call I canceled my service with phone call from Josh yesterday June 3 2026. I don’t know what happened. Im surprised at the sloppy communication. I’ve learned I can’t depend on BH Dave’s for appliance repair. I was a Navy wife for 20 years. My husband was deployed all the time. Im used to doing things on my own. With that being said. I googled my problem. I ordered my own part I need a dishwasher drain assembly. In the meantime I’ve found another repair shop. Armstrong out of Greenville. This place used to be fantastic. Not so much anymore. I will NOT EVER call them again for repairs or to purchase new appliances. I took down my previous 5 star review. They really have no customer service anymore. I don’t care if they have been in business 100 years. There lack of communication will end there century old business. Get the old woman who smokes 50 cigarettes a day off the customer service line. I’m glad I found out that I can’t depend on them for honest customer service and repairs. Absolutely worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. I’ve live all over the world. No I don’t recommend this establishment for buying appliances or having any repairs done.”
“I stopped in to browse and was so glad I did. All of the staff is friendly, knowledgeable with zero pressure to buy. When I'm ready to upgrade my appliances, I will go there first.”
“These guys are a great they went way out of their way to get the exact product belt I needed so I give these guys an A+ Plus”
“Just love Dave's Appliances so friendly n helpful, bought a washer speed queen just love it I can do 3 loads in the time my old energy saver did one. The installers were very nice.”
“I'm a fix it guy. My 15 yr old washer quit working, I went though my process to figure out the issue. Went to the store and ordered the part, I thought was bad, ask their opinion on what I was doing. They thought I was on the right track, even pointed me in other directions if that wasn't my problem. Got home and 20 minutes later, I was doing laundry! These folks are great! They have my business. Always be polite, and grateful for pro's who will give you a little advice without wanting something extra. Thanks guys!”
