“Scott is a great professional! After two years of us going without heat(because we didn’t want to get told we need a whole new unit by someone else) Scott has fixed our heat! His dedication is amazing and he even came on the days no one else would go out! His work is thorough and he will help you understand what went wrong and he will not leave you hanging on anything! “Scott runs a one man operation, so keep that in mind when contracting him to repair your system. If it’s not an emergency it will take him awhile to get to you but once he does he will get your system to work. I had 3 different big local companies come by and tell me there was nothing they could do to get air flow to the back of our house. Scott came to our house at 5pm and didn’t leave until 3am and had our system fixed. If you have a problem that another HVAC company can’t or won’t fix give SVM a shot and Scott will have it fixed for you even if he has to rebuild part of the system from scratch to get it to work.”

“Scott takes wonderful care of his customers. About 10 years ago, during the heat of summer he told me how to fix my own AC system over the phone. I told him that I would remember him when it was time to have more work done. Well, that time came this past fall and Scott took excellent care of us, dismantling and cleaning all of our duct work, while replacing the compressor, exchanger and furnace. He is a one-man team, so it takes time to get a big job done, but he was like part of the family by the time he was done. He is very kind and professional and my dogs loved him, which says a lot. “For 12 years no repair person could explain or correctly diagnose my AC unit problem until I contacted Scott at SVM. My unit was covered in mold, inside and out, due to improper installation of plenum. He not only fastened, sealed, and insulated it correctly, he also removed all mold! Before his repair I had several respiratory infections and even hospitalizations, but haven't had any lung infections since he repaired my unit 8 months ago!!! After getting involved, being greatly disappointed, and grossly overcharged by another well known repair service (whose amateurish efforts were completely unsuccessful,) our system was repaired (not replaced) by Mr. Mayer. The attention to detail is amazing, and absolutely nothing goes overlooked. SVM kept us informed as to what work was being done/repaired and why. At no point in time did I feel as if I was being “taken for a ride,” nor did SVM attempt to pressure me into making unnecessary purchases.
