About
Donald E Clary handles HVAC work for homeowners in Killeen, Texas. His crew takes care of the air conditioning and heating systems that keep houses comfortable through the long hot summers and occasional cold snaps in the region. Based right in town, they know the local setups and the kind of wear and tear that comes from running units hard in Texas weather. The focus stays on fixing problems and setting up reliable equipment that lasts through the demands of Central Texas living, where military families and long term residents both need steady performance from their systems without constant breakdowns.
They come out to repair units that stop cooling, install new systems when old ones give out, and do routine checks to catch issues early. In Killeen, a lot of calls involve getting air conditioners back online during the peak heat when families need relief fast. Work includes looking over compressors, fixing leaks in lines, replacing thermostats, and making sure airflow stays strong through the ducts. Homeowners count on them to handle the jobs without dragging things out or leaving messes behind. The team works straight through the day to finish what they start and keeps things moving even when parts are hard to source right away.
People keep coming back because the jobs get done right the first time and at a fair price. They show up on time, keep the communication direct about what needs doing, and deliver quality that holds up. Speed matters when the heat hits, and the record shows they deliver without overcharging or cutting corners on the work that actually counts. DIRT Score 5.0 from 219 reviews on Finds.

“Updated review. Mandi took care of every concern we had and made us feel cared for. My father’s ceremony was beautiful. Somehow the police escort passed by in front of the house as id my pops asked them to take a detour so he could see it one last time. Everything ended up working out perfectly! Thank you”
“I would just like to thank BOBBY (the hearse driver) and James (the guy that answers the phones) at Crawford-Bowers Funeral home because they went above and beyond to assist my family in a time of need however, our funeral director Mandy was neither helpful nor personable. I felt ZERO compassion from her and she never even answered all my questions before the graveside burial, plus the questions she actually did answer were her just pointing me to google to look it up myself. She was AWFUL! I would recommend Crawford-Bowers only because of James, the sweet and kind man than answers the phones and Bobby, the hearse driver who actually looks you in the eye and says how can I help… BUT I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND MANDY the funeral director.”
““We are forever grateful to Crawford-Bowers for the care, compassion, and professionalism they showed our family during one of the most difficult times of our lives. They were the perfect choice to honor our loved one and handle the funeral and final arrangements with such dignity and care. Ms. Deborah took exceptional care in planning every detail of the viewing, funeral service, and interment. She walked us through an entire presentation to help guide us through each decision, bringing comfort and clarity during an incredibly overwhelming time for our family. Her compassion, patience, and calm presence truly made her the calm in the storm. The staff also coordinated all arrangements with the VA Cemetery, which lifted an enormous amount of stress from our family during such an emotional season. We will never forget the kindness, support, and professionalism shown to our family. Thank you, Crawford-Bowers, for honoring our loved one so beautifully and for taking such wonderful care of us every step of the way.””
“Had my mother cremated and believed her ashes were in the urn at her service. We didn’t find out until the end of the service, when we were preparing to take her home, that she had not even been cremated yet. We waited 20 days for the service, and at no point did anyone tell us there were issues getting paperwork signed by her nursing home. That day was already incredibly difficult for my father as he said goodbye to his wife, and to learn she wasn’t even there was heartbreaking. I was beyond angry and trying to hold myself together in the moment. This was especially disappointing because, while my mother was in hospice and even immediately after she passed, the staff treated our family with kindness, respect, and dignity. However, the fact remains that my mother was not cremated until weeks after the service. It makes me wonder: if we had chosen a burial service, would they have told us, or would we have buried an empty urn? I am leaving this review because the positive reviews were a major reason we chose this funeral home in the first place. I sincerely hope no other family has to experience something like this during such a painful time of loss.”
“My Mom knew that she could trust and rely on me solely to take care of her needs after passing. She knew that I would give her dignity and I got this from Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home. Mom passed during the night in her sleep and I met with the team at Crawford-Bowers the following morning. The ease of going through paperwork and insurances and selecting her urn was made to me by them. It’s hard to lose a parent - especially your Mom and having to handle these delicate matters; but you all did a great job helping me with this difficult time. Thank you all so much.”
