“Updated review 8/26/2026: A/C went out after hours on one of the hottest days of the year. Called and got an appointment for two days out. Amy contacted me after scheduling the appointment and got us in for the next morning. Yeah! Carlos was timely and inspected the unit, found that the capacitor failed, which is not uncommon during this Texas heat. Once reloaded the unit stated cooling like a charm. A/C unit was way overdue due for a service check-up, due to the fact that the bigger companies kept pushing various extra services. I saw Robinhood recommended on NextDoor and decided to give them a try. I am so glad I did. It was by far the BEST service I have ever received from an A/C company. First, scheduling was super easy via their website. Alex and his helper came on time, listened to my concerns and previous experiences. They gave the system a good thorough check-up, explained in detail what numbers the system was pulling and never ever pushed any "necessary" services. Ultimately I decided to sign up for their service plan and have a hard start kit installed, given the numbers and the age of the A/C.”

“Robinhood has been a terrific! Their customer service is AMAZING! I was in the middle of an HVAC emergency and started calling everyone around. It was Friday evening, clearly after hours, and all I was getting was voicemails and AI bots. Robinhood had an AI bot too so I completed the call and just hung up thinking I was going to have to wait so I thought nothing of it. Within 15min a gentleman from Robinhood called me back because he got an alert there was a call after hours. He was very nice and professional, wanting to reach out and see if they could help (wish I could remember his name). He had someone at my house the next day (a Saturday). Chris Montalvo showed up and this guy was extremely knowledgeable and got us all sorted out. We appreciated their services so much that we signed up for the maintenance program and have zero regrets. Water had been dripping from the emergency PVC drain pipe on the roof, and Carlos cleared the clog and performed maintenance checks. I had also been told during our home inspection that the capacitor would need to be replaced, so I asked Carlos to check it while he was here. He thoroughly tested the old capacitor, explained that it was still working, and clearly laid out the condition and available options.
