“I am extremely disappointed with the service I received from Texas Home Performance. What should have been a straight forward diagnosis turned into multiple visits and unnecessary charges. On the first visit, the technician simply recharged my system with refrigerant, despite the fact that it was already low and clearly leaking. No pressure test or vacuum was performed, no leak search was conducted, and I was charged over $300 for what amounted to a temporary 4 day band-aid. Unsurprisingly, the system failed again by week end. After contacting the tech, letting him know of our concern, he forgot to add me to the calendar. 3 weeks later, after my reminder when the technician returned, he pressurized the system with nitrogen and found the leak in less than 30 minutes. This is exactly what should have been done during the initial visit. Instead, I was billed an additional $397, bringing my total to over $700 just to identify the leak. To make matters worse, there was no upfront estimate or clear explanation of costs before work was performed—only final invoices after each visit. After reaching out to address my concerns, the company offered me a small refund of $91, which does not”

He diagnosed the issue as a serious electrical problem involving the Honeywell control box and wiring, which was causing the system to shut down. He replaced the control box, corrected the wiring issue, changed the filter, and thoroughly checked the system to ensure everything was operating safely and reliably before leaving. “Great price and service. Knowledgeable and professional. I had a great experience with Adnan and his crew. I had rodents get into attic and chewed into my HVAC plenum. Got hot air mixed with the cool air and the condensation led to mold. They changed out the plenum and ducts and grills. I had like 5 different bids and they were the best price by far. Then I found out my heat was out on another hvac unit (completely unrelated) and they diagnosed it and fixed it quickly with an extremely fair price.
