About

Paris Air Conditioning is an HVAC outfit based in Lamar County, Texas. They focus on keeping homes comfortable through heating and cooling work in the area. Local homeowners turn to them for system replacements and ongoing care because the region sees hot summers and cooler winters that put equipment through its paces. The crew handles everything from routine checks to full installs, sticking to reliable brands like American Standard when it comes time for new units. Technicians such as Chris and Josh Brown handle the day to day jobs that keep systems running right.

Chris shows up to give estimates on swapping out old heat pumps and leaves behind three different options for the homeowner to consider before heading out. Josh Brown handles regular maintenance and system updates, arriving quick when breakdowns happen in the middle of bad weather. One recent job left a couple screws out of an electrical panel after the main work wrapped up, yet the cooling system performed as expected once finished. Homeowners note the quotes cover more ground than what competitors provide and they stick with the company for years on service calls that keep units running through peak seasons.

Customers give strong marks for how fast the crew responds to calls, especially emergencies, and for the solid results on installs and repairs that hold up over time. Minor notes about small oversights on a job or driving habits do not change the pattern of reliable outcomes at a fair cost. Work quality stays consistent enough that repeat business builds up across Lamar County properties. DIRT Score 4.76 from 56 reviews on Finds.

What Customers Say

“Chris came out and gave an estimate to replace our old heat pump. He was very professional and gave me 3 estimates before he left the property. Paris AC is not the cheapest. I decided to go with them because I wanted an American Standard unit, offered a more through quote vs the competition, how long the company had been in business, their ratings and a promotional discount. Paris AC ordered the unit the next day and came to install within 4 business days. Installation for the AC went fine but the heat kept blowing the circuit breaker so they were unable to resolve that issue. They had installed a unit that required a 60 amp circuit breaker for the heat strips vs the old system used a 30 amp circuit breaker. I called Paris the following day and discussed with Josh the issue and requested to downsize the heat strips from 10 kilowatts to 5. They said that they could do that and sent out a technician that afternoon. Once they made the 5 min change, no more issues with the circuit breaker. Would I use them again - YES. My only suggestion is that if they are recommending higher electrical requirements, they should discuss that with the customer ahead of time to ensure there are no surprises during the installation process.”

“whoever was driving the van with the license plate NLF-2072, at 2:50pm on June 9th, needs to stay off the road. swerving all over the place, and decided it would be a great idea to go 15 mph under the speed limit on a residential road with safe points of passing. not a great look for the company to hire people who can't follow basic road etiquette.”

“Guys came out and did a fantastic job. Coordination was a bit lax and they forgot to put a couple of screws back into my electrical panel, however the job was done well and would recommend them.”

“I cannot say enough good things about Paris Air Conditioning. I have relied on this company for years to keep my systems maintained or updated. Josh Brown has always exceeded my expectations leaps and bounds. Thank you guys for being so efficient and fast. Especially in emergency situations. 5 star company for sure!”

“Came home from work Tuesday and A/C wasn't working properly. Lines were iced over at the unit. Stopped by Paris Air Wednesday morning on the way back to work and submitted a service request. Casey called at 11am and met me at my home. Casey completed a thorough diagnostic and concluded the ECM on the blower motor was bad. They ordered a replacement and Thursday morning Casey returned and replaced the part. It is 9:45am and my home is once again cold. I highly recommend Paris Air. They own a walk-in building right down the street. Local people that live here in Paris. Don't trust some stranger on Facebook Marketplace. Pay a few dollars more to have it done right the first time while supporting our local businesses.”
