HVAC Contractor · Laredo, TX
About
Andy's Air Services Llc works out of Wise County, Texas handling HVAC jobs for both homes and vehicles in the area. The hot Texas summers and sudden weather swings put heavy demands on cooling equipment here, so the company stays busy keeping air systems running through routine checks and urgent fixes. They deal with compressors, valves, clutches, and hoses on trucks as well as residential units, showing up with parts in hand to get things moving again without long delays.
They replace high and low port valve stems on truck air systems, supply and install new compressors when pressure stops circulating, and handle ac clutch replacements by keeping common parts stocked and ready at the counter. One job involved welding an aluminum hose in under thirty minutes with fresh o rings for a total of eighty dollars, avoiding the cost of a full replacement. Another customer needed an ac clutch for a truck and found the part waiting without added markups, while the team also addresses failed circulation issues even if results vary by the job.
Customers note solid response speed that helps with breakdowns during peak heat, along with fair pricing that avoids gouging and quick turnaround on hose and clutch repairs. Quality comes through on straightforward fixes that last at the quoted cost, and communication stays direct when parts are available on site. Mixed feedback on warranty follow through appears in some cases but the overall pattern shows reliable handling of common HVAC tasks in Wise County. DIRT Score 4.38 from 90 reviews on Finds.

What Customers Say
“Don’t recommend! They don’t stand behind their work. Had them replaced the valve stems for high and low ports and they did a lousy failed job! Sold me a compressor that’s not circulating the pressure and their excuse is we don’t warranty anything! What kind of BS is that! Supposedly they the experts for A/C services yet they won’t take responsibility for their work and parts!”
“Took my truck twice both times over a grand . 6 months later still not working . It’s a 2002 if i go again I’ll pay more then what the truck is worth . Any suggestions on other mechanics I can take it to )”
“I went in needing to purchase a new ac clutch for my truck. The parts salesman was very courteous and professional. They had the part sitting on the counter when I arrived. AND !! They didn’t price gouge like other places do. I really appreciate their service and kindness! Count me as a future customer for sure.”
“Loved this place fix my hose very quickly and way cheaper than buying new hose they welded the aluminum under 30 minutes and with new orings came out to 80 dollars total”
“Worst place I have ever been to. Called in this morning and told them my vehicle's compresor was getting jammed, they told me to stop by for a diagnostic, on my way there my vehicle's belt was torn, I got there and told the receptionist my vehicle's compresor is jammed and the belt just blew. The mechanic asked the receptionist to run the code scanner in my vehicle she told the mechanic the codes and without even opening the hood, nor turning my vehicle on, or even touching my vehicle the mechanic told the receptionist to tell me they needed to change the compresor, the expansion valve, the condenser and evaporator. The receptionist told me this and I asked if I could speak with the mechanic to ask about everything since I know it is just the compresor and only wanted to change that. The mechanic told me they could not guarantee anything no even the compresor by it's self. I then asked how much the diagnostic was and what the diagnostic was, he said it was $75 and the diagnostic was: compresor not working and torn belt. So basically I got charged $75 for someone to repeat what I told them over the phone and in person. It took another 15 min for them to charge me the $75 dollar diagnostic fee. I left the place went to Laredo Auto Air and they did a full inspection opened the hood turned it on, ran the code scanner and will have it ready tomorrow and they do guarantee their jobs and the compresor. Will never go back to Andy's auto air supply”
