“I as well as multiple family members of mine have been going to Dr.Hooker for years. 10 years for myself. He first prescribed me anti anxiety medicine when I was 19 for severe panic attacks. I am now 30. The medication is a Benzo so it’s not safe to quit without the supervision of a dr. His receptionist told me to go to a psychiatrist for this, fair enough (I also switched insurance companies so needed a new dr anyway). I explained that this is a process and may take a little while to find a decent doctor who takes my insurance. I’m so disappointed in the way he treated me. He prescribed me this at 19 with me knowing nothing and left me to withdrawal cold turkey by myself. I went to the ER over 10 times because of him. I was very patient with his office even through all of this. I used to think he was great, but it sickened me how he handled this situation by single handedly putting my life in danger and to make matters worse he didn’t have the respect to even have a conversation with me. Not one. He ghosted me without explanation other than through his receptionist, as well as “severing patient relationship” . He could have worked with me. I’m a single mother and a professional. This man did not even have a single discussion with me to get off the medicine safely. Ghosted me. This is unacceptable and there needs to be laws in place to prevent this from happening to patients who put their trust in doctors.”

“I have been a patient of Dr. Hooker's for 20 years (at least a few times of year kind of patient) ... He and all the ladies from scheduling, front desk, nurses, lab tech and everyone in-between have always provide stellar care... I have never felt like a NUMBER... everyone listens and take their time to address all your concern or request in a professional but friendly way... and seeing the same faces year after year gives me a sense of stability and that says a lot about Dr Hooker and the staff... I have referred numerous people over the years... all my immediate and extended family see him or one of the other providers within the practice... You won't find better care then right here with Dr Hooker!”

“Called to make an appointment with my Dr because I'm sick only to be told by the rude receptionist that I have to take a covid test elsewhere in order to get an appointment..... WHAT??? That's the whole point of me making an appointment, to find out what I'm sick with and be treated. I recommend you pick a different place for your pcp. They need a new receptionist too because honey the one they have isn't it !!!!!”

“Dr Hooker is the best doctor I’ve ever had! I’ve been going to him for years now. He’s always taken the time to find what’s best for me. I’ve never felt rushed at any visit either. Plus, the whole office staff is wonderful as well. Five stars all the way around.”

“Doctor Hooker has been my doctor since 1988 when my wife worked with him. He is most attentive, never rushes you and does not get in a rush to get to his next patient. I am really going to miss him when I retire ln a couple of years.”
