“After working for this company for over two years as a paraprofessional, my experience ended in a way that felt unfair and misleading. During the summer, while I was on approved FMLA due to giving birth, I notified the company that I would not be returning immediately after my leave. I had been told prior to going on FMLA that I needed to notify them as soon as I knew, which I did. Shortly after, during my exit interview, I was informed that I would never be eligible for rehire because I allegedly “broke policy” in the middle of summer. This was extremely confusing, as the handbook I signed applied to the previous 2024–2025 school year, and we were already past that period. Additionally, paraprofessionals are not paid during the summer months, which makes enforcing school-year policies during that time feel unreasonable. Paraprofessionals are also not paid for holidays, and once you leave the company, you should expect to wait until the very last IRS-allowed mailing date to receive your W-2. There is no sense of urgency or consideration once you are no longer employed. Despite being well qualified for multiple open positions, I was not offered any alternative opportunities within the company. Overall, this organization does not support family values and does not treat employees with empathy or respect, especially during major life events like childbirth. I strongly encourage anyone considering employment here to ask detailed questions and carefully weigh their options before accepting a position.”

The organization is highly focused on academic excellence with the virtue of western civilization. Our entire family is grateful to be part of Founders Classical Academy. “I wish I could give it a negative star.I believe they should have better set of employees as they are dealing with kids education here.My kiddo was enrolled in their bilingual Prek program through Kids r kids ,katy.They suddenly terminated her enrollment without informing us as she was out for few days.Neither the Responsive ed or the Kids r kids informed us.We asked about how to reemroll and the kids r kids teacher said 'I dont know ,this is the first time I am seeing this'.That's all and a kid was deprived of education .I called Responsive ed HR and they told they would investigate but no update.Its been over 3 months”

“Don’t send your kids here if you want them to be taught by certified teachers because RES will hire anyone with a degree and zero teaching experience. They will also look the other way when students physically attack teachers because they are terrified of parent lawsuits and will gladly throw their teachers under the bus to save face. This company is a joke.”
