Colten Griffin A/C & Heating
HVAC Contractor · Longview, TX
About
Colten Griffin A/C & Heating handles heating and cooling work for homes across Longview, Texas. The crew focuses on gas furnaces and air conditioning systems in a region with long hot summers and winter freezes that strain older equipment. They perform installs and upgrades on residential setups, often bringing in electricians to handle wiring and disconnects as part of the full job. Local homeowners reach out for repairs on units that run poorly or cost too much to keep going, as well as bigger replacements that update outdated systems. The outfit works on straightforward fixes and larger changes without unnecessary complications in the East Texas climate.
They replace old 80 percent gas furnaces with new 96 percent models and add complete air conditioning to houses that never had it before, including the electrician work to install proper disconnects. Crews like the one led by Brian Felton check problems on site and spot simple fixes that other companies miss, which helps keep costs down for homeowners. When a small issue appears a year and a half after a job, they schedule a return visit quickly to sort it out and stand behind the work. This approach covers both new installs and ongoing service calls where clear options and direct action matter most in daily operations around Longview.
Homeowners consistently praise the clear communication on costs and choices, along with quality work that lasts in the local weather. They note fair pricing without extra upsells, quick responses for repairs, and speed in getting issues resolved on the first try. Feedback also highlights the willingness to correct any oversights without extra charges and the focus on saving money through honest assessments rather than big replacements. What Customers Say
“Feltons is a solid HVAC option if you live in Columbia County! They replaced our old 80% gas furnace with a 96% furnace and added Air conditioning to our house back in 2021. They supplied electrician and all to install the disconnect for the A/C. From the front office staff, estimator, install, annual maintenance and repair techs; all have been professional and great to work with. Also stood by the warranty here 5yrs later when the furnace needed a part. Keep up the great work!”
“Great local heating and cooling business. Brian Felton is very professional and takes pride in his estimates and work. They stand behind their work if something happens that they worked on call them. I had a small issue year and half after install they got me scheduled right away. Highly recommend Feltons.”
“They made sure I wasn't ripped off by other companies who didn't bother to tell me that it was a simple fix. These guys are truly amazing, Brian is seriously one of a kind, and my family thanks you so very much for helping us save a ton of money!!!!!!”
“This company provided terrible customer service, did not fix the issue and charged my friend $270 to come out and do nothing. They forgot the tools they needed and wanted to charge my friend again for them to come back out with the correct tools. The entire time they were here they treated him very grumpily and clearly did not want to be here. What a waste of money and time. I don’t think they even know how to work with these mini-splits because they diagnosed nothing and seemed to hate the technology. When my friend called to complain about the experience the owner hung up on them. Don’t book this company. They are not professional. Zero out of Ten if I could.”
“I thought I found the right place in Longview for my HVAC home and commercial needs. After spending $22,317.95 on a new 5 Ton unit on 10/26/2023 it quit within two years later. Now they want to charge to repair coils that "rubbed on each other" causing a hole and fifteen pounds of refrigerant has leaked out. If the coils rubbed on each other due to vibration, I would expect that it was from a poor installation. I asked the tech if it would be covered and he said no. Even to have their technician come out to look at it they charged us $135.13 and want another $1707.98 for the repair.”
